A taxonomic revision of the genus Oxytropis DC. (Leguminosae) in Turkey is presented. According to the recent literature, the genus had 13 taxa in Turkey; however, at the end of our studies the number was reduced to 11. It was determined that Oxytropis engizekensis Duman & Vural is a synonym of O. persica Boiss., and O. fominii Grossh. is a synonym of O. argyroleuca Bornm. Taxonomic Revision Of Silene (Caryophyllaceae) Sections Siphonomorpha, Lasiostemones, Sclerocalycinae, Chloranthae, Tataricae, And Otites In Turkey, Kemal Yildiz, Ali̇ Hi̇kmet Çirpici

Forty-four Silene L. taxa belonging to the sections Siphonomorpha Otth, Lasiostemones Boiss., Sclerocalycinae Boiss., Chloranthae Rohrb., Tataricae Chowdhuri, and Otites (Adams.) Otth were studied. The Silene specimens used in the study were collected from different localities between 2005 and 2007. Their conservation status, phytogeographical regions, and distribution in Turkey were determined. Detailed drawings of the general view and flower from each species were added to the study. As a result of these detailed investigations, the conditions of some species having taxonomic problems were re-examined, and suggestions were proposed. Two New Species Of Cirsium (Asteraceae) And Notes On Allies From Turkey, Bayram Yildiz, Turan Arabaci, Tuncay Di̇rmenci̇

In this study, 2 new species of Cirsium Mill. sect. Epitrachys DC., Cirsium balikesirense Yıldız, Arabacı & Dirmenci and C. nerimaniae Yıldız, Dirmenci & Arabacı from Turkey, are described and illustrated. The differences between the new species and their allies are discussed. Ecological habit, localities, key of allied species, and a distribution map of the species are given.

Seseli L. is represented by 12 taxa (species and subspecies) in the Flora of Turkey. On the basis of morphological examination and field investigation, we have revised the genus Seseli in Turkey. The following are provided for each taxon: a description, along with the complete synonymy and notes on nomenclature, geographical distribution, habitat, IUCN conservation status assessment, and selected materials examined. Two new species from Turkey, Seseli marashica E.Doğan & H.Duman and S. serpentina B.L.Burtt ex H.Duman & E.Doğan, are also described.
