School-age children spend substantial time at school, a setting that is more vulnerable to environmental problems. School environmental factors, such as indoor air quality (IAQ), has been shown to have a significant impact on students’ health and academic performance. However, several research gaps remain regarding school environmental research. Few studies have assessed both indoor and outdoor school environmental factors and their impact on student’s respiratory health on a large scale.
