Bodyweight is one of the most common anthropometric components to determin e a prescription for diet and drugs. However, this way proved to be a challenge for individuals who are unconscious and or have disabilities. The present study aims to derive a simple equation to estimate the bodyweight of adults in Jakarta by using a cross-sectional study on data taken with simple random sample method. Measurements of body weight (BW), the mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC), and the knee height (KH) were done in 164 adults in South Jakarta in May 2017.
