Crab Creek County is a hypothetical small Virginia county on. the Chesapeake Bay. ThisĀ· simulation explores the coastal management issues involved in developing a point of land in Crab Creek County fronting on the Chesapeake Bay to the North, and Crab Creek to the South. The game is based on key Virginia and federal laws and agencies affecting coastal resources, and provides insights into the human and technical interactions involved in the "permitting" processes.
