Yield And Yield Components Of Wheat Sown After Winter Hungarian Vetch In Central Anatolia Conditions, Sai̇me Ünver, Muharrem Kaya, Mehmet Atak, Hakan B. Hakyemez

This research was conducted at the Research and Application Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ankara during the growing periods of 1996-1998. Winter Hungarian vetch treated with different inoculation methods (no inoculation, seed inoculation and soil inoculation) and nitrogen doses (0, 2, 4 kg N/da) was harvested in two periods (for hay and seed). Yield and some yield components of Bezostaja 1 bread wheat variety, which was sown in the same plots, were studied. According to the results of the study, harvest times (for hay and seed) caused significant differences in plant height, spike length and grain yield of wheat. …
