Objective: This study provided basic data for the investigation of polysaccharides in coffee and the development of natural active polysaccharides. Methods: The water extraction method and antioxidant activity of green coffee beans polysaccharide (GBP) from Yunnan province. Response surface method was used to optimize the extraction process of polysaccharide from coffee bean. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were used to identify and characterize the structure of polysaccharide from coffee bean. Methods: Using D. officinale dry powder as raw material, orthogonal experiment was used to optimize the extraction conditions of polysaccharide from D. officinale by ultra-high pressure technology. The effect of 60Co-γ ray irradiation on hypoglycemic activity of polysaccharides from Inonotus obliquus was explored. The polysaccharides of Inonotus obliquus under the irradiation doses of 5, 10, 20 and 30 kGy were extracted and their contents were determined. The experiment was performed on a mouse model of type I diabetes induced by streptozotocin (STZ) according to the grouping dose. The types of polysaccharides that have been used in the research on moisturizing and flavoring of cigarettes are summarized. The types of pyrolysis products, pyrolysis mechanism, and the law of influence on cigarette moisturizing, flavor enhancement, and mainstream smoke are described in detail from the two aspects of cigarettes' own polysaccharides and externally added polysaccharides. The direction for future development is proposed.

Objective:This study aimed to analyze the physicochemical properties, primary structure and antioxidant activity of polysaccharide from Zizyphus jujuba cv. Banzao.Methods:The polysaccharides were prepared by water extraction and alcohol precipitation, deproteinization with trichloroacetic acid and decolorization with hydrogen peroxide. The physicochemical properties of polysaccharides were studied, and the possible structures were predicted by Ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) and infrared (IR) spectroscopy. Finally, the free radical scavenging ability was determined.Results:The polysaccharide from Z. jujuba cv. Objective:This study aimed to explore the relationship between the structure and antioxidant activity of purified red date polysaccharide ZJP-1 and sulfated red date polysaccharide S-ZJP-1.Methods:Using remnant jujube as raw material, jujube polysaccharide (ZJP-1) was purified by hot water extraction, and then separated by DEAE-52 ion exchange chromatography and Sephadex-200 dextran gel column chromatography. Thereafter, red jujube polysaccharide sulfated derivative (S-ZJP-1) was obtain through chlorosulfonic acid-pyridine sulfated modification.Results:Both ZJP-1 and S-ZJP-1 are composed of three monosaccharides: glucose, arabinose, and galactose, but the ratios are different. Objective: In order to develop composite edible film with excellent performance, the effects of different types of polysaccharides on collagen edible film's properties were evaluated with collagen from loach skin being the basic raw material. Methods: Pectin (acidic polysaccharose), pullulan (neutral polysaccharide) as well as chitosan (alkaline polysaccharide) were used to compose the film with collagen, respectively. The composite film's properties including basic properties, mechanical properties and barrier properties were measured and analyzed. Objective: This study aimed to explore the regulatory effect of Lactarius hatsudake polysaccharide on intestinal flora. Methods: LHP was extracted from L. hatsudake by hot water. LHP-1 and LHP-2 were further purified and characterized. The effects of LHPs on body weight and intestinal microbiome composition were studied in antibiotic-induced mice. Results: LHP-1 was mainly composed of mannose, glucose and galactose. The molar mass ratio of LHP-1 was 3.44∶61.10∶1.22. Four kinds of polysaccharides of Glehnia Radix (GLP-30, GLP-50, GLP-70, GLP-residual) were fractionated and purified by water extraction and alcohol precipitation. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, high performance liquid chromatography, and gel permeation chromatography, scanning electron microscopy, and differential scanning calorimetry-thermogravimetric analysis were used to evaluate the physicochemical properties and structure characteristics of polysaccharides. The ginsenoside in Ciqishen capsule was detected by using HPLC,and the polysaccharide was determined by UV. The safety of Ciqishen capsule were evaluated by the acute toxicity test in rats and mice, with the mutation tests of salmonella test (Ames test),the micronucleus tests of mice bone marrow polychromatic erythrocytes and the experiment of mouse sperm deformity, and the 30-day feeding test was used for toxicological study. The results showed that the average contents of ginsenoside and polysaccharide in Ciqishen capsule were 0.273,3.190 g/100 g. An orthogonal test was utilized to optimize the ultrasonic-assisted extraction process of polysaccharides from Lilium davidii var waste bulb, and the stability of the polysaccharides was studied. The results showed that the optimum extraction conditions for ultrasonic-assisted extraction process were as followed: the ratio solid to liquid of 1:20 (g/mL), ultrasonic time of 60 min, ultrasonic power 250 W, and ultrasonic temperature 60 ℃. Under the conditions, the extracting rate of polysaccharides from Lilium davidii var was 18.44%.
