The market for over-the-top (OTT) services has witnessed significant growth and transformation, presenting new opportunities and challenges to service providers. This study aims to explore the factors that influence consumers' intention to use OTT services, focusing on the context of Brunei Darussalam. The cooling effect of different vented packaging designs was investigated for packed muskmelons fruits in a commercial cold storage condition. Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation and experiments were used. The airflow pattern, heat transfer and temperature profiles were predicted from simulation and analysed. The CFD results reveal an uneven and low efficient airflow distribution inside a commercially used vented packaging (Box A). This resulted slow cooling of the fruits in Box A. The knowledge and research on SMEs and Halal-related studies in Brunei Darussalam are scant. Guided by the principles of Resource-Based View theory, this qualitative study aims to identify the benefits and challenges of Halal certificate application from the perspectives of Bruneian Halal food SMEs, as they obtain the Brunei’s Halal certificate and label. Based on the purposive and snowball sampling, four semi-structured interviews were conducted with business owners and managers in the Halal food industry. The larval stage of the darkling beetle, Tenebrio molitor, often referred to as the yellow mealworm, has received significant attention as a promising source of high-quality protein for human consumption due to its exceptional nutritional profile. This study focused on assessing the antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of protein concentrates and hydrolysates obtained from mealworm specimens raised under distinct dietary conditions. This study aimed to assess the impact of various vinegar compositions used as pre-treatment for Pacific Yellowtail Emperor (PYE) fillets during the oven-drying process, with a focus on moisture content and optimal drying conditions. Two types of commercially available vinegar, Superior Vinegar and Datu Puti Vinegar, were compared, and different drying temperatures were evaluated. The investigation revealed that the drying temperature significantly influenced the moisture content of the dried PYE fillets. Tropical marine fish is a main raw material for surimi processing plants, including golden threadfin bream (Nemipterus virgatus Houttuyn, 1782) and swallowtail dwarf monocle bream (Parascolopsis eriomma Jordan & Richardson, 1909). After processing, more than 60% of fish are considered as byproducts (i.e., head, viscera, skin, bones, fins and scale), and tend to discard due to poor-utilization. Traditional Bruneian delicacy which are often reserved for special occasions; called the kelupis Sulang made from glutinous rice, coconut milk, and the flesh of the Brunei Sulang fruit’s protein content were studied. The protein content of both kelupis and the sulang fruit were examined using both qualitative and protein concentration analyses. The analysis was performed using the Xanthoproteic test, Ninhydrin test, Sulphur Reduction test, and the Biuret test. The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted organizations, underscoring the critical role of financial factors in determining performance. Maintaining a healthy financial stance during crises necessitates effective risk management, prompting the exploration of a Risk Management Committee (RMC) as a focal point for addressing risk issues and managing internal controls. A study spanning 2017 to 2021 assessed 11 listed companies in the Telecommunication and Media Sector, revealing that a combined RMC did not enhance financial performance, indicating its ineffectiveness during the crisis. Contamination of meat by Escherichia coli (E. coli) can take its source from the live animal or by cross contamination. The study determined the prevalence of resistance of E. coli isolated from locally produced meats in the Tema Metropolis. Beef (n=200), chicken (n=200) and pork (n=200) were randomly selected and evaluated for the presence of E. coli using the procedure in the Bacteriological Analytical Manual of USA-FDA. The disc diffusion method was used for antibiotic susceptibility test of E. coli (n=55) isolates. Locally produced beef (67%), chicken (41%) and pork (23%) were contaminated by E. coli. Macrobrachium rosenbergii, or the giant freshwater prawn has high market demand due to its exceptional nutritional value for the human diet. Often, most nutritional studies focus on the edible prawn parts, rather than the prawn discarded components. The nutritional evaluation of different prawn parts can provide insights into the nutrient composition and guiding for the development of value-added products. The increase in global natural rubber production has correspondingly elevated the generation of wastewater. To address this, various wastewater treatment methods are being implemented, with continuous adsorption emerging as a promising approach. In this recent study, pelletizing of attapulgite/carbon nanocomposite was conducted to obtain pellet adsorbent for continuous adsorption of wastewater from natural rubber industry. Genetically modified (GM) crops that have been engineered to express transgenes have been in commercial use since 1995 and are annually grown on 200 million hectares globally. These crops have provided documented benefits to food security, rural economies, and the environment, with no substantiated case of food, feed, or environmental harm attributable to cultivation or consumption. Despite this extensive history of advantages and safety, the level of regulatory scrutiny has continually increased, placing undue burdens on regulators, developers, and society, while reinforcing consumer distrust of the technology. To determine the lowest concentration of spore added to polyurethane-cement composite (PUCCO) particles that can still germinate after curing in concrete. This research project is a small addition to the larger research project being undertaken by Mirza Mohammed Rashiduzzaman for his Masters. The larger project involves the use of fungal spores added in concrete to act as a self-healing component when cracks form in the concrete structure over time. DNA computing is an ever-growing field with scientists trying to design structures that optimize logic gate communication to develop fast, biologically compatible, computational structures. We hypothesize that by using the principles of DNA computing, it is possible to design a DNA tile capable of studying localized DNA hybridization that can differentiate between oligonucleotides of different structural conformations. This includes synthetically manipulating DNA into a nanostructure that can perform Boolean logic functions to calculate the different rates of hybridization. Remote court hearings (RCHs) have significantly benefited the Brunei Civil Court in maintaining its judicial system and reducing backlogs as a preventative measure, during COVID-19. RCHs have enhanced the judicial system's accessibility, saving resources and increasing court performance and productivity. However, technical problems and mistrust have slowed the RCH's adoption. This study assessed user satisfaction with remote court hearings using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. Three external variables influenced the perceived usefulness of remote court hearings: trust, perceived risk, and fairness expectations. บริษัท สยามมิชลิน จำกัด (โรงงานพระประแดง) จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ มุ่งมั่นในการจัดการทรัพยากรน้ำอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและยั่งยืนในกระบวนการผลิตยางรถยนต์ การผลิตยางรถยนต์และยางรถจักรยานยนต์มีการใช้น้ำจำนวนมากในกระบวนการผลิต จึงเป็นเหตุให้เกิดน้ำเสียจำนวนมากตามมาเช่นกัน น้ำเสียเหล่านี้จะถูกส่งเข้าระบบบำบัดน้ำเสียแบบเลี้ยงตะกอนเร่งเพื่อบำบัดและมีสมบัติได้ตามมาตรฐานน้ำทิ้ง แนวทางในการลดการปล่อยน้ำเสียหลังการบำบัดแล้วสู่สาธารณะ คือ การนำน้ำเสียที่ผ่านการบำบัดเหล่านี้กลับมาใช้เพื่อสามารถหมุนเวียนทรัพยากรให้กลับมาใช้ใหม่อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด และยังสอดคล้องกับแผนการบริหารด้านความยั่งยืนในการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อมของบริษัทอีกทางหนึ่งด้วย ในงานวิจัยนี้จึงศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการนำน้ำเสียที่ผ่านการบำบัดแล้วกลับมาใช้ใหม่ในกระบวนการอบยาง โดยศึกษาและปรับปรุงประสิทธิภาพอัตราการไฟล (%Recovery) ของระบบรีไซเคิลรีเวอร์สออสโมซิสแบบขั้นตอนเดียวด้วยสารกรองแก้ว (AFM®ng) พบว่ามีประสิทธิภาพเพิ่มขึ้นจากเป็นร้อยละ 64 จากนั้นศึกษาเปรียบเทียบความเป็นไปได้ของโครงการระหว่างระบบรีไซเคิลแบบสองขั้นตอน (Double-pass RO) มีร้อยละผลตอบแทนของโครงการ (%ROI) และระยะเวลาคืนทุน (Payback period) เท่ากับ ร้อยละ 242, 1.22 ปีและระบบรีไซเคิลแบบสองขั้นตอนร่วมกับระบบการกรองระดับอัลตร้า (UF-RO/RO) เท่ากับร้อยละ 189, 1.97 ปีตามลำดับ แสดงให้เห็นว่าระบบรีไซเคิลแบบสองขั้นตอน (Double-pass RO) มีผลตอบแทนด้านการลงทุน (ROI) ที่ดีที่สุด และระยเวลาการคืนทุนที่เร็วกว่า แม้ว่าระบบรีไซเคิลแบบสองขั้นตอนร่วมกับระบบการกรองระดับอัลตร้า (UF-RO/RO) จะมีคุณภาพน้ำดีกว่า แต่เมื่อพิจารณาต้นทุนแล้ว พบว่าไม่แตกต่างกันมากนัก เนื่องจากระบบรีไซเคิลแบบสองขั้นตอน (Double-pass RO)มีร้อยละผลตอบแทนการลงทุนที่ดีที่สุด และระยะเวลาคืนทุนเร็วกว่า บริษัทฯ จึงเลือกใช้ระบบนี้ในการผลิตน้ำป้อนเข้าสู่หม้อต้มไอน้ำ ส่งผลให้สัดส่วนการใช้น้ำประปาในการอบยางลดลงร้อยละ 26 สัดส่วนการใช้น้ำรีไซเคิลเพิ่มขึ้นถึงร้อยละ 42 และลดการปลดปล่อยก๊าซคาร์บอนไดดอกไซด์ได้ 111.63 ตันคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ต่อปี

ปัญหาการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศในปัจจุบันเกิดจากการเพิ่มขึ้นของปริมาณก๊าซเรือนกระจก ซึ่งมีความรุนแรงและมีแนวโน้มที่จะส่งผลกระทบที่เพิ่มมากขึ้น ประเทศต่าง ๆ และองค์กรทั่วโลกได้กำหนดเป้าหมายในการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก จึงเป็นสิ่งสำคัญที่ต้องตระหนักถึงและแก้ไขผลกระทบที่เห็นได้ชัดจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในการบรรเทาปัญหาอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประเมินปริมาณคาร์บอนฟุตพริ้นท์องค์กรของโรงงานผลิตยางคอมพาวด์ และประเมินปริมาณการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกจากกิจกรรมในองค์กร ภายใต้โครงการสนับสนุนกิจกรรมลดก๊าซเรือนกระจก (Low Emission Support Scheme: LESS) ขององค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก (องค์การมหาชน) ในปี พ.ศ. 2565 และ 2566 ผลการศึกษาพบว่าปริมาณการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกทั้งหมดมีแนวโน้มลดลงจาก 41,675.07 ตันคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์เทียบเท่าต่อปี ในปี พ.ศ. 2565 สู่ 38,043.30 ตันคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์เทียบเท่าต่อปีในปี พ.ศ. 2566 โดยขอบเขตที่ 3 การปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกทางอ้อมอื่นๆ มีสัดส่วนที่สูงที่สุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 78.55 และ 79.81 ตามลำดับ รองลงมา คือ ขอบเขตที่ 2 การปล่อยจากการใช้พลังงาน มีสัดส่วนคิดเป็นร้อยละ 20.05 และ 18.40 และขอบเขตที่ 1 การปล่อยทางตรงขององค์กร มีสัดส่วนต่ำที่สุด คิดเป็นร้อยละ 1.39 และ 1.80 เมื่อวิเคราะห์ต่อยอดการผลิต พบว่า ปริมาณการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกประเภทที่ 1 และ 2 ต่อยอดผลิตในปี พ.ศ. 2565 และ 2566 เท่ากับ 0.1717 และ 0.1699 ตามลำดับ ขณะที่ปริมาณการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกขอบเขตที่ 1 2 และ 3 ต่อยอดผลิต เท่ากับ 0.8005 และ 0.8413 ตันคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์เทียบเท่าต่อตัน ผลการศึกษาในการลดก๊าซเรือนกระจกจากการดำเนินกิจกรรมภายในองค์กรสามารถลดปริมาณการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกในปี พ.ศ. 2565 และ 2566 เท่ากับ 2,255.29 ตันคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์เทียบเท่า โดยการติดตั้งระบบพลังงานหมุนเวียนจากแสงอาทิตย์ (Solar Rooftop) สามารถลดปริมาณก๊าซเรือนกระจกได้ในปี พ.ศ. 2565 …
