A new species of Eriococcidae (Hemiptera: Coccoidea), Proteriococcus lauri Erkılıç sp. nov., collected on Laurus nobilis in Turkey is described and illustrated based on the adult female, and first-instar nymph.

Description Of A New Species Belonging To The Genus Balocha Distant, 1908 From China (Hemiptera: Cicadellidae: Idiocerinae: Megipocerini), Bin Zhang, Zi Zhong Li

Balocha hainana, a new idiocerine leafhopper species of the genus Balocha Distant from southern China (Hainan province), is described and illustrated. A key to the 3 Chinese genera of the tribe Megipocerini is provided. An image of the male adult and illustrations of the male genitalia are also given.

Review Of Palearctic And Australian Species Of Bootanomyia Girault 1915 (Hymenoptera: Torymidae: Megastigminae), With Descriptions Of New Species, Mi̇kdat Doğanlar

The world species of Bootanomyia Girault (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea, Torymidae) are reviewed. Nine species are transferred from Megastigmus to Bootanomyia as new combinations: B. almusiensis (Doğanlar, 1989), B. dorsalis (Fabricius 1789), B. dumicola (Boucek 1982), B. habui (Kamijo, 1962), B. maculipennis (Yasumatsu and Kamijo, 1979), B. nipponicus (Yasumatsu and Kamijo, 1979), B. stigmatizans (Fabricious 1789), B. synophri (Mayr 1874), and B. zhaoi (Xu & He, 2003). Megastigmus bohemanii Ratzeburg, 1848 is reinstated as a species from synonymy under M. dorsalis Fabricius and transferred to Bootanomyia as B. bohemanii (Ratzeburg, 1848) (comb. and status n.). Two new species of zerconid mites, Zercon denizliensis sp.n. and Z. alattini sp.n., collected from Honaz Mountain National Park in Turkey are described and illustrated. Additionally, a key to the species of the genus Zercon known from Turkey is given.

Contributions To The Agromyzidae (Diptera) Fauna Of Turkey, Emi̇ne Çikman, Mitsuhiro Sasakawa

Three new species are described: Ophiomyia quadrispinosa sp. nov., Metopomyza lingulata sp. nov., and Pseudonapomyza multicostata sp. nov. Five species are recorded from Turkey for the first time: Melanagromyza provecta (de Meijere), Liriomyza lutea (Meigen), L. periorbita Hendel, Phytomyza veronicicola Hering, and P. wahlgreni Rydén. All species were collected from Elazığ and Malatya provinces in 2007 and 2008. The general distribution and a description of each species are presented.

During studies on the Braconidae fauna of the Black Sea, Central Anatolian and Eastern Anatolian regions of Turkey 2 new species, Bracon (Lucobracon) kuzguni sp. n. and Bracon (Lucobracon) breviradius sp. n., were recorded and described. Important morphological diagnostic characters are figured and they are compared with the related species, B.(L.) triangularis Nees, 1834 and B. (L.) brachycerus Thomson, 1892 respectively.

Cerceis Insolita N. Sp., A New Species Of Sphaeromatid Isopod Crustacean From The Coastal Waters Of Pakistan, Farzana Yousuf

Cerceis insolita n. sp. (Isopoda, Sphaeromatidae), from the rocky intertidal region of Manora Island, Karachi coast, Pakistan, is described. The species can be identified on the basis of the following characters: antenna 1, pleon, pleotelson, coxal plates, pleopods 4 and 5, and notably by the unusual female pereopod 1 merus being short, transversely expanded, with the distolateral angle laterally produced into circular structure; carpus short, transversely expanded, propodus stout, curved laterally, with convex medial and concave lateral margins, dactylus subtriangular, well-developed unguis and accessory unguis. A New Species Of Westralianus Boucek 1988 (Hymenoptera:Torymidae: Megastigminae) From Turkey, Mi̇kdat Doğanlar

A new species of the Australian genus Westralianus Boucek (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea, Torymidae) is described from Altınözü, Hatay, Turkey. Some new diagnostic characters of the genus are provided by inclusion of a second species in the genus. The new species, W. altinoezus n.sp., is compared with the type species, W. microstigma Boucek 1988. The new species was recorded as a parasitoid of caterpillars of an unknown species of Lepidoptera living in galls of Gymnosporangium confusum (Uredinales: Pucciniaceae) on shoots of Crataegus monogyna Jacq. A description of the new species is provided and its diagnostic characters are photographed.
