First Record Of Bilusius Valiko Logvinenko, 1974 (Hemiptera, Cicadomorpha, Cicadellidae) From Turkey, With Redescription Of The Species, Murat Karavi̇n, Ünal Zeybekoğlu, Veysel Kartal

The genus Bilusius Ribaut, 1942 includes 3 species; 2 are from the Pyrenees and 1 is from the Caucasus (Georgia). This study reports both the genus Bilusius and the species Bilusius valiko Logvinenko, 1974, which are recorded here for the first time from Turkey. This species is redescribed and figured by examination of specimens collected from northeastern Turkey.

Zelleria oleastrella (Milliere), a monophagous pest on olive trees, was recorded for the first time in Turkey. The pest was collected from olive orchards in the eastern Mediterranean region of Turkey in 2008 and 2009. Its general distribution is presented.

A Study Of The Family Spercheidae (Coleoptera) From Turkey, Mustafa Cemal Darilmaz, Suat Kiyak

The distributional data of all known taxa of the Turkish species Spercheus were summarized. Spercheus emarginatus (Schaller) were recorded for the first time in Turkey and additional locality data were presented for Spercheus senegalensis Laporte. Diagnostic characters of the new record, photographs of their aedeagus and some morphological particulars were provided, as well as a key to the species of the genus from Turkey and adjacent areas.

The biodiversity of the Specially Protected Marine Area at Foca (Turkish Aegean Sea) was studied by scuba diving during October 2008. In the framework of this study the actinarian Aiptasia mutabilis (Gravenhorst, 1831) was found for the first time in Turkish waters. This new record extends the known geographical distribution of the species.

Herb Gallwasp Neaylax Salviae (Giraud, 1859) (Hymenoptera, Aylacini) – New Record From Turkey, Yusuf Katilmiş, Suat Kiyak

Here we report a new record for Neaylax salviae (Giraud, 1859) (Hymenoptera, Aylacini) on Salvia officinalis L. (Lamiaceae) in the inland Aegean region of Turkey. We give details on the geographical distribution and host. Neaylax salviae (Giraud, 1859) is a new record on the genus level for Turkish fauna.
