Notes On The Chrysopidae (Neuroptera) Fauna Of Ardahan, Iğdır And Kars Provinces Of Turkey, İsmai̇l Ari, Meti̇n Aktaş, Suat Kiyak

This study was based on 558 specimens belonging to 23 species of 10 genera of Chrysopidae of the order Neuroptera. These specimens were collected from Ardahan, Iğdır and Kars provinces between 2001 and 2003. Among the species, Dichochrysa ventralis Curtis, 1834 is a new record for the Turkish Neuroptera fauna. The distribution of each species, worldwide and in Turkey, is also presented.

This study is based on 349 specimens belonging to 24 species of 17 genera of Myrmeleonidae of the order Neuroptera, and these insects were collected from Ardahan, Iğdır, and Kars provinces between 2001 and 2003. Among the species, Deutoleon turanicus Navas, 1927 and Distoleon luteomaculatus Hölzel, 1972 are new to the fauna of Turkish Myrmeleonidae. The distribution of each species in Turkey and in the rest of the world is presented.

In this paper 8 ciliate species are described and figured. All these species were found in the Anzali Wetland of the Caspian Sea (Islamic Republic of Iran). The descriptions are based on the observations of living specimens and the analysis of slides impregnated with silver.

The Mollusk Fauna Of Lake Sapanca (Turkey: Marmara) And Some Physico-Chemical Parameters Of Their Abundance, Serap Koşal Şahi̇n, M. Zeki̇ Yildirim

To identify the mollusk fauna of Lake Sapanca (Turkey), samples were collected monthly from 5 stations between September 2000 and August 2001. The mollusk fauna of the lake consists of a total of 16 species, 12 of which belong to Gastropoda: Theodoxus fluviatilis, Viviparus acerosus costae, Esperiana accicularis situssineri, Esperiana esperi, Bithynia tentaculata, Lithoglyphus naticoides, Borysthenia naticina, Galba truncatula, Radix labiata, Lymnaee stagnalis, Planorbis planorbis, and Oxyloma elegans, and 4 to Bivalvia: Unio pictorum, Dreissena polymorpha, Anadonta cygnea, and Sphaerium lacustre. Furthermore, temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, and depth of each sample were measured at the sampling sites.
