Revision Of The Genus Aphelinus Dalman (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea: Aphelinidae) In Norway With Descriptions Of 3 New Species, George Japoshvili, Lars Ove Hansen

The Norwegian species of Aphelinus Dalman, 1820 (Hymenoptera: Aphelinidae) are reviewed, and a total of 8 species are recorded. The 3 species Aphelinus abdominalis (Dalman, 1820), A. chaonia Walker, 1839, and A. varipes (Förster, 1841) have previously been recorded from Norway, while A. mali (Haldemann, 1851) and A. asychis Walker, 1839 represent new records for the country. The 3 species A. elvestueni sp. nov., A. odin sp. nov., and A. paluscolus sp. nov. are described, illustrated, and compared with closely related species. An illustrated key for the identification of the females of Norwegian Aphelinus is presented.

A Study Of The Genus Empidideicus Becker, 1907 (Diptera: Mythicomyiidae) In Northern Iran, With Description Of A New Species, Saeedeh Hakimian, Ali Asghar Talebi, Babak Gharali, Neal Evenhuis

The genus Empidideicus Becker, 1907 (Diptera: Mythicomyiidae) was studied in 2 provinces of northern Iran (Tehran and Ghazvin provinces). Six species were collected and identified. A new species, Empidideicus formosus Hakimian, Talebi, & Gharali sp. nov., is described and its diagnostic characters are illustrated. This species is closely related to E. unicus Gharali & Evenhuis, 2011, but it is easily distinguished by the almost all-yellow prescutellar area and striated female spermathecal reservoirs.

A New Species Of The Genus Dinotrema Foerster (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Alysiinae) From Turkey, Maximilian Fischer, Gregory Thomas Sullivan, İsmai̇l Karaca, Sebahat Sullivan

A new species of the genus Dinotrema Foerster is reported from the Samsun region on the central Black Sea coast of Turkey. The genus generally parasitizes flies and ranks among the most species-rich taxa of the Braconidae. Morphological details of the new species Dinotrema samsunense Fischer & Sullivan are described, figured, and compared taxonomically with the most closely related species.

Description Of A New Zodarion Walckenaer, 1826 From Turkey (Zodariidae; Araneae), Robert Bosmans, Recep Sulhi̇ Özkütük, Saki̇n Vural Varli, Kadi̇r Buğaç Kunt

Turkish Journal of Zoology

A new species of Zodarion Walckenaer, 1826 is described based on material collected in the Marmara region of Turkey. Morphological and diagnostic characters and illustrations of the genitalia of both sexes are presented, and the differences with the closely related Zodarion turcicum Wunderlich, 1980 are pointed out.
