Ease of digestion and adequacy in protein, minerals, and vitamins are absolutely essential for the school child. The results of mistakes in the feedings of school children are not seen as quickly as in the case of younger children. Mistakes in feeding at this age may result in serious diseases conditions later on. The adolescent child probably requires as much or more food than the adult because he is growing rapidly.
