The Farm Map and Plan was part of the soil conservation efforts that were enacted after the Dust Bowl in the 1920s. In this plan, there is an aerial picture of the Allison farm from the Soil Conservation Service photogrammetry department as well as handwritten descriptions of the land.

John A. Rosslott owned land in Lawrence County that was assessed for taxes in 1912. He disputed the amount assessed and the court issued a decree for the new amount that Rosslott owed to the Drainage District. However, there was an error in the court's decree. In 1913, Rosslott filed this petition for an order of "nunc pro tunc" which is a Latin legal term that means "now for then" and would amend the previous court decree to include an additional tract of land that was missed. John Hadly sold his grist mill on Spring Creek off the White River along with all of his hogs to Asa Musick in 1814 for $300. This deed was the first one recorded in Lawrence County, which was formed in 1815. This was a high price for the time period, which indicates that it was a valuable property and that farmers were active in the area.
