Musick Deed Dec 1815

John Hadly sold his grist mill on Spring Creek off the White River along with all of his hogs to Asa Musick in 1814 for $300. This deed was the first one recorded in Lawrence County, which was formed in 1815. This was a high price for the time period, which indicates that it was a valuable property and that farmers were active in the area.
