The purpose of this pamphlet is to bring together into a single report, the most recent data on crops and livestock, land use, number and size of farms, tenure, in come and other pertinent information which has a direct bearing on South Dakota Agriculture. This report contains a great deal of material which has been summarized from the recent 1945 U.S. Census. Much additional information has been obtained from the South Dakota Crop and Livestock Reporting Service.
