One genus and 3 species are reported as new records for the fauna of Iran. They are Eriophyes tiliae (Nalepa, 1890) on Tilia begonifolia (Tiliaceae); Aceria tuberculatus Nalepa, 1891 on Tanacetum parthenium (Asteraceae); and Leipothrix liroi (Roiv., 1947) Jocic and Petanovic (2012) on Primula sp. (Primulaceae).

A survey on the fauna of the Cryptinae of Isfahan Province was carried out in the summer of 2012. Specimens were collected using Malaise traps and sweeping nets. Nine species belonging to 9 genera of Cryptinae occurring in Isfahan Province were collected and identified. Among them, 7 species have been recorded from Iran previously. These species are Cryptus inculcator (Linnaeus, 1758); Dichrogaster saharator (Aubert, 1964); Gelis areator (Panzer, 1804); Lysibia nana (Gravenhorst, 1829); Mesostenus transfuga Gravenhorst, 1829; Stilpnus gagates (Gravenhorst, 1807); and Trychosis priesneri Rossem, 1971. In this study, Olios sericeus (Kroneberg, 1875) is introduced as a new record to the fauna of the spiders of Iran. Photos and a drawing of the male specimen are presented and its zoogeographic distribution is discussed.

In this study, Prozercon banazensis sp. Nov. İs described and illustrated from female and deutonymph specimens collected in Kütahya and Uşak provinces (Turkey). Morphological features of P. Morazae Ujvári, 2011, which is a new record for the Turkish fauna, are also given with drawings. Information on habitat and distribution for each species is also provided.

A specimen of Armina maculata was collected on 10 July 2013 from İzmir Bay, north-eastern Aegean coast of Turkey. This short note represents a clear indication of the unique occurrence of an A. maculata in Turkish seas.

The Norwegian species of Aphelinus Dalman, 1820 (Hymenoptera: Aphelinidae) are reviewed, and a total of 8 species are recorded. The 3 species Aphelinus abdominalis (Dalman, 1820), A. chaonia Walker, 1839, and A. varipes (Förster, 1841) have previously been recorded from Norway, while A. mali (Haldemann, 1851) and A. asychis Walker, 1839 represent new records for the country. The 3 species A. elvestueni sp. nov., A. odin sp. nov., and A. paluscolus sp. nov. are described, illustrated, and compared with closely related species. An illustrated key for the identification of the females of Norwegian Aphelinus is presented.

In this study, 5 parasitic wasp species (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Agathidinae) belonging to 2 genera are recorded from Diyarbakır, Mardin, and Şanlıurfa provinces in the Southeast Anatolia Region of Turkey. All are new records for the Southeast Anatolia Region; that of Agathis persephone Nixon, 1986 is a new record for Turkey and its second distribution record in the world.

The examination of specimens collected from various parts of Turkey, mainly from East Anatolia, and an overview of the literature allows us to reach the conclusion that the Melittidae of Turkey are represented by 3 genera, Dasypoda (14 species), Macropis (2 species), and Melitta (9 species), with a total of 25 species including Dasypoda toroki Michez, 2004, a new record for the Turkish fauna. Contribution To The Knowledge Of The Scutelleridae (Hemiptera, Heteroptera) Fauna Of Turkey, Erol Yildirim, Gülten Yazici, Ni̇hal Karakurt

This study is based on material of the family Scutelleridae collected from different localities in Turkey between 1969 and 2013. In this study, 13 species of 7 genera belonging to 4 subfamilies (Eurygasterinae, Elvisurinae, Odontoscelinae, Odontotarsinae) from the family Scutelleridae were recorded from Turkey. Among them, Eurygaster integriceps Puton, 1881; Eurygaster maura (Linnaeus, 1758); and Odontotarsus purpureolineatus (Rossi, 1790) have been found to be the most abundant and widespread species. Phimodera flori Fieber, 1863 is a new record for the Turkish fauna. In addition, new localities were found for some species that have already been reported in Turkey.

First Report Of Psyllopsis Repens Loginova, 1963 (Hemiptera: Psylloidea) From Isparta, Turkey, Ozan Demi̇rözer, Serdar Bi̇lgi̇nturan

Psyllopsis repens Loginova, 1963 (Hemiptera: Psylloidea) has been recorded for the first time in Turkey (Isparta). This jumping plant-lice species is associated with ash trees (Fraxinus angustifolia, F. excelsior, and F. ornus) and induces galls on leaves and buds. Additionally, Anthocoris nemoralis (Fabricius, 1794) has been confirmed as a predator of P. repens.

Ichneumonid Parasitoids Of The Sawfly Cimbex Quadrimaculata (Müller) Feeding On Almonds In Antalya, Along With A New Parasitoid And New Record, Hi̇kmet Özbek

The sawfly Cimbex quadrimaculata (Müller) (Hymenoptera: Cimbicidae) has been identified as a serious defoliator of young almond plants in Antalya. Two ichneumonid parasitoids, Opheltes glaucopterus (Linnaeus) and Phobetes nigriceps (Gravenhorst) (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae: Ctenopelmatinae), were reared as larva-pupa parasitoids of C. quadrimaculata. Of these, P. nigriceps was obtained for the first time from C. quadrimaculata; it is a new record for the Turkish fauna as well as for the continent of Asia.

Arrenurus (Truncaturus) corsicus (E. Angelier, 1951) is newly recorded for the Turkish fauna. It can be easily distinguished from other Truncaturus species by the pedipalpal femur with numerous hair-like setae medially, elongated idiosoma, and anterior coxae extending beyond anterior idiosoma margin.

In this paper, the authors report the discovery of Sphedanolestes sanguineus (Fabricius, 1794) in Turkey, a new finding for Asian fauna, and give an annotated checklist of Reduviidae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) for this country. Stenolemus novaki Horváth, 1888, Holotrichius apterus Jakovlev, 1879, Holotrichius denudatus A. Costa, 1842, Holotrichius rotundatus Stål, 1874, Rhynocoris annulatus (Linnaeus, 1758), Rhynocoris transitus Hoberlandt, 1952, and Pygolampis bidentata (Goeze, 1778) are little known species from Turkey. This study is based upon material of the family Dermestidae collected from different localities in Turkey between 1965 and 2012. The study resulted in the recording for the Turkish fauna of 28 species of 6 genera belonging to 3 subfamilies (Attageninae, Dermestinae, Megatominae) within the family Dermestidae. Among them, Attagenus unicolor unicolor (Brahm, 1791), Anthrenus scrophulariae scrophulariae (Linnaeus, 1758), and Anthrenus goliath Saulcy in Mulsant & Rey, 1868 have been found to be the most abundant and widespread species. Fifteen new records of Dolichopodidae from the inner western Anatolia region resulting from recent expeditions are presented. The following species are recorded from Turkey for the first time: Argyra argyria (Meigen, 1824); Hercostomus griseifrons Becker, 1910; Poecilobothrus principalis (Loew, 1861); Orthoceratium lacustre (Scopoli, 1763); Scellus notatus (Fabricius, 1781); Medetera perfida Parent, 1932; Neurigona abdominalis (Fallén, 1823); Peloropeodes acuticornis (Oldenberg, 1916); Rhaphium albifrons Zetterstedt, 1843; Campsicnemus barbitibia Stackelberg, 1947; Campsicnemus crinitarsis Strobl, 1906; Campsicnemus filipes Loew, 1859; Sympycnus simplicipes Becker, 1908; Syntormon zelleri (Loew, 1850); and Teuchophorus chaetifemoratus Pollet & Kechev, 2007.

Ground Beetles (Coleoptera: Carabidae) Of Azarbaijan, Iran, Ahmad Atamehr

The Carabidae family (Coleoptera) is among the dominant groups of terrestrial predators and includes more than 40,000 species worldwide, making it one of the largest families of beetles. The fauna of Carabidae in Azarbaijan, Iran, is very diverse and has not been studied thoroughly. In the following paper, this group of beneficial predators is studied, using samples taken through 2007-2010 across Azarbaijan. Species belonging to 12 subfamilies were collected from 24 different localities. Among this diverse fauna, 3 species, Broscus cephalotes (Linnaeus, 1758), Harpalus (Pseudoophonus) calceatus (Duftschmid, 1812), and Amara (Xenocelia) ingenua Duftschmid, 1812 are new records for Iranian fauna.

The present study deals with the first records of Laubieriellus salzi and Spiophanes afer in the Sea of Marmara. They were collected from Mytilus galloprovincialis, Zostera marina, sand, and shell fragments substrate at depths ranging from 0.2 to 5 m in November 2010. This study gives more information regarding the morphological and distributional features of these species.

In this study, Zeiraphera isertana (Fabricius, 1794) is newly recorded among Turkish Tortricidae fauna. This is the first record of the genus Zeiraphera Treirschke, 1829 from Turkey. The specimens were collected from cherry trees in Afyonkarahisar Province during 2008. Collection was done via bait traps used for the control of Tortricidae pest moths. Both male genitalia and imago were depicted.

The genus Trichopsomyia Williston, 1888 is recorded for the first time from Iran. Trichopsomyia flavitarsis (Meigen, 1822) and T. lucida (Meigen, 1822) were determined based on the material collected from a wetland in Aynali forests in 2010. A key to the species of the genus in northwestern Iran is prepared and photographs of the specimens are provided.

Suctobelbid mite fauna of the Shendabad region (East Azerbaijan Province) was studied in 2008 to determine the species found in soil samples. There were 4 species identified that are new records for the mite fauna of Iran: Suctobelbella (Flagrosuctobelba) elegantula (Hammer), Suctobelbella (Flagrosuctobelba) nana Shtanchaeva and Subias, Suctobelbella (Suctobelbella) acutidens (Forsslund), and Suctobelba trigona (Michael). One species, Suctobelba aliena Moritz, is new to Asia. An identification key is given for the species.

The genus Bilusius Ribaut, 1942 includes 3 species; 2 are from the Pyrenees and 1 is from the Caucasus (Georgia). This study reports both the genus Bilusius and the species Bilusius valiko Logvinenko, 1974, which are recorded here for the first time from Turkey. This species is redescribed and figured by examination of specimens collected from northeastern Turkey.

Zelleria oleastrella (Milliere), a monophagous pest on olive trees, was recorded for the first time in Turkey. The pest was collected from olive orchards in the eastern Mediterranean region of Turkey in 2008 and 2009. Its general distribution is presented.

The distributional data of all known taxa of the Turkish species Spercheus were summarized. Spercheus emarginatus (Schaller) were recorded for the first time in Turkey and additional locality data were presented for Spercheus senegalensis Laporte. Diagnostic characters of the new record, photographs of their aedeagus and some morphological particulars were provided, as well as a key to the species of the genus from Turkey and adjacent areas.
