Reflections On Feminism, Law & Culture: Law Students’ Perspectives, Bridget J. Crawford
Elisabeth Haub School of Law Faculty Publications
This essay is a collective reflection by thirty-nine law students on feminism, law and culture. In the Spring 2020 semester, the students who enrolled in the Feminist Legal Theory course taught by Professor Bridget Crawford at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University were a mixed-gender group of second-year, third-year, and fourth-year students. The course focused on the themes and methods of feminist analysis and the application of feminist legal theories to topics such as intimate partner violence, prostitution, pornography, sexual harassment, reproductive rights, and economic rights. Students attended a traditional seminar meeting once each week. Conversations continued …

Bicentennial Alumni Research Project, Indiana University Maurer School Of Law
Historic Documents
In summer 2020, eighteen incoming law students (0Ls) were chosen as IU Maurer School of Law Bicentennial Research Scholars to work with Dean Austen Parrish and Libby Steinbach (Executive Assistant in the Dean's Office) over a two-month period in June and July 2020. The scholars were asked to interview a range of alumni who volunteered to be interviewed and who have played an important role in the life of law school. Scholars were tasked with writing an alumni profile for each alumnus interviewed. This report is the result of those efforts and a compilation of the alumni profiles.

Preparing Lawyers For Practice: Developing Cultural Competency, Communication Skills, And Content Knowledge Through Street Law Programs, Ben Perdue, Amy Wallace
Articles & Chapters
Street Law is a legal education methodology designed to increase civic engagement, critical thinking skills, and develop practical legal knowledge in non-lawyers. Law students at Georgetown began using Street Law methods to teach high school classes in the 1970s. While Street Law was designed to help high school students, the programs were also crafted to provide authentic experiential opportunities for law students. However, little research had been done to measure the educational benefits for those law students. We designed the study that is featured in the article to assess those goals. We conclude that Street Law provides significant and often …

Scholarly Articles in Law Reviews & Journals
Although this issue arrives on desks roughly two years after the start of the coronavirus pandemic, it offers a degree of continuity with our usual fare concerning scholarship about legal education. Our next double-length issue will explore in depth matters of teaching modality, technology, and change connected with the ongoing pandemic. This issue offers fresh perspectives on matters of long-standing concern-line drawing, pro bono requirements, pedagogy, law student instruction of high school students, and bar exams. We found the articles, as well as the three book reviews that fill out this issue, to be engaging and insightful and we hope …
