تعد محافظة المثنى احدى محافظات العراق التي تتميز بمساحتها الشاسعة ومواردها المتنوعة، الا انها تعاني من حالات الحرمان في الخدمات والمشاريع التنموية. هذا البحث جاء لدراسة اوجة التنمية وتوزيعها المكاني في محافظة المثنى والوقوف على اهم اسباب التباين المكاني للمشاريع التنموية والحرمان لتلك المناطق. اظهرت الدراسة ان هناك تباين في التوزع السكاني والانشطة الاقتصادية الصناعية والزراعية والبنى الارتكازية كمشاريع الماء والمجاري والطرق والوحدات السكنية، اذ تتركز في قضاء السماوة مركز محافظة المثنى وقضاء الرميثة، في حين تتذبذب الاعداد السكانية وتتركز مظاهر الحرمان في قضاء السلمان وفي حالة شبه منعدمة للمشاريع والخدمات. ونتج ذلك عن عاملين اساسيين طبيعة المنطقة الصحراوية والخلل …

Groundwater is the reserve for surface water in the study area for areas far from the Euphrates River, groundwater is represented by (15) ground basins and ten candidate areas for agricultural investment, and scientific studies of the region indicate the presence of groundwater storage suitable for even medical uses in the northern desert near the Syrian border, The groundwater is represented by the wells that were drilled in five areas (Al-Hammad, Al-Hajar, al wadian al aulia, al wadian al sufla, and Gezira).

This study aims to propose a standard for determining the health effects of light pollution as a growing type of other environmental pollution. In view of the potential risks posed by continuous exposure to various sources of light pollution, the proposed standard is necessary. A laboratory experiment was conducted on a sample of volunteers in Najaf City. Volunteers of both sexes and different ages were subjected to varying optical stresses. Volunteers demonstrated different health responses to each light intensity, and on this basis a standard was established to diagnose the health impact of light pollution for each case. The standard …
