Continuous Sorption Of Ionic Dyes Onto Nanoporous Faujasite Zeolite And The Regeneration Of The Adsorbent, Frederick O. Oshomogho, Miracle Aisosa Omorogieva
BAU Journal - Science and Technology
This study evaluates the efficiency of synthesized faujasite zeolite in the continuous removal of methylene blue from water and tests the reusability of the regenerated adsorbent. Faujasite Zeolite was synthesized from locally available aluminosilicate clay in Edo State using standard methods documented in the literature. XRF analysis affirmed the elemental composition, showing high levels of silica and alumina, which increased its adsorption capacity. SEM images depicted a crystal-clear structure with an octahedral shape and visible micro-pores on the surface. TGA showed effective thermal stability below 300 ºC, with a 10% weight loss between 28.59 ºC and 300 ºC. BET analysis …
Theoretical Analysis Of The Fiber Flow Movement Under The Influence Of Columns, Avazbek Azamatovich Obidov, Rashid Gulomjonovich Rakhimov
Theoretical Analysis Of The Fiber Flow Movement Under The Influence Of Columns, Avazbek Azamatovich Obidov, Rashid Gulomjonovich Rakhimov
Technical science and innovation
During the study, the optimal design for testing the improved fiber cleaning device was initially selected, and a process flow diagram of the fiber cleaning chamber was created for theoretical studies. According to this process flow diagram, based on theoretical studies, the behavior of fibers in the grate of the fiber cleaning device was studied, and the effect of changing the geometric parameters of the grates on the cleaning efficiency was determined. Using the developed mathematical model, graphs were constructed for the dependence of the fiber flow rate on the angle of coverage at different values of the angular speeds …
Investigation On The Mechanical And Physical Properties Of Medical Scrub Fabrics, Hafez S. Hawas
Investigation On The Mechanical And Physical Properties Of Medical Scrub Fabrics, Hafez S. Hawas
Journal of Art, Design and Music
Medical scrub fabric is crucial for healthcare providers, as it offers medical professionals a blend of comfort, functionality, and hygiene. These factors significantly influence the overall performance and effectiveness of healthcare staff in their jobs. Therefore, the main objective of this research to investigate the relationship between different weft materials, weave structures and the mechanical and physical properties of produced medical scrub fabrics. For this aim, eight medical scrub samples were produced varying in weave structure (plain 1/1 & twill 3/1) and four different weft materials (Cotton, Bamboo and Microfiber polyester with two different number of fibers in cross section). …

Mathematical Modeling For Pile Yarn Length And Crimp Ratio In Woven Terry Fabric, Elham E. Elemam, Hamdy A.A. Ebraheem, Ahmed S. Eldeeb, Rehab Abd Elkhalek
Mansoura Engineering Journal
In this research, a mathematical model for predicting the consumed length and crimp ratio of pile warp yarns in woven terry towel fabrics was developed. The mathematical formulas interrelate the construction parameters of the woven terry fabric such as weave structure, weft count, weft density, counts of pile and ground warp yarns and loop length with the consumed length and crimp ratio of pile warp yarns. Experimental verification was conducted on nine terry cotton fabric samples produced with three different levels of weft density, weft count and loop length. Results showed that theoretical values highly corresponded to the measured values …
Experimental Studies On Determination Of Loading And Laws Of Motion Of The Accelerator Of The Raw Material Chamber Of The Saw Gin, Yusuf Abbasovich Axmedjanov
Experimental Studies On Determination Of Loading And Laws Of Motion Of The Accelerator Of The Raw Material Chamber Of The Saw Gin, Yusuf Abbasovich Axmedjanov
Technical science and innovation
The findings of research conducted on the saw gin’s accelerator in its raw chamber are displayed at different belt drive eccentricity values, both in the absence of load and with technological load. It has been discovered that, in a steady-state scenario without a load, the maximum torque value increases as the eccentricity of the system’s tension roller increases in a technological load scenario, the torque minimum is noted at an eccentricity of e = 3 mm. When conducting experiments under load, the average angular velocity fluctuation amplitude and the coefficient of unevenness of rotation have minimum values at zero eccentricity …

Health Professions Education
Purpose: Today, increased attention has been placed on the healthcare industry and its workers in the wake of the global COVID-19 pandemic. Increases in facemask production, personal protective equipment, and the number of patients admitted into hospitals have resulted in a sharp rise in medical waste and environmental concerns. This has led to a greater interest by the research community to study the type of training and education that healthcare workers and students receive which could facilitate the implementation of sustainability activities during their work.
Design/Methodology: We have conducted a literature review (2010 to 2024) on healthcare worker …
