The purpose of this research is to explore to what scale hospitals are adopting social media and implementing it in accordance with hospital characteristics. We reviewed hospitals’ social media activities on social networking sites such Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. We studied the 912 hospitals in the Midwest region reported in the 2015 American Hospital Association Annual Survey dataset. The goal of our research study is to develop a hybrid instrument built on the revised Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) framework, which is reliable in predicting the behavioral intention to use the Uber ridesharing app. It focuses on extending the UTAUT2 in collaborative consumption, particularly from a consumer and ridesharing-app perspective. Our proposed framework, UTAUT-CC, preserves existing UTAUT2 constructs – performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social expectancy, and facilitating conditions. Understanding the brain's electrical activity provides objective evidence of different psychophysical phenomena related to manual handling tasks. The primary objective of this research was to assess the neural signatures of human physical efforts and perceived comfort in isometric arm exertions. Two experiments were conducted with male participants (n=20) who applied isometric forces at 1) different levels of exertion and 2) different levels of physical comfort. EEG signals, the rate of perceived exertion (RPE), and the rate of perceived physical comfort (RPC) have been recorded. This thesis investigates the effect of different factors on Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers (CFRP) milling, like feedrate, tool material, and cutting speed. CFRP offers excellent material properties, which led to the increase of the material in today's manufacturing industry. CFRP offers up to 2.25 times steel's modulus of elasticity at about a fifth of the weight and excellent thermal properties, which allow the use of this material in applications with high heat like automobiles. The underground Methane Watchdog System (MWS) is a multi-nodal network of sensors currently under development. The MWS aims to improve safety and productivity by introducing 10 compact sampling units designed to be easily integrated within the current roof support equipment of the mine. The goal of this thesis is to compare the accuracy and precision of the discontinuity identification results obtained by three active remote sensing technologies along with a point cloud processing program, and the results obtained by conventional methods. For this research, the active remote sensing devices were terrestrial LIDAR, mobile LiDAR with Simultaneous localization, and mapping (SLAM), and LIDAR/Camera on an autonomous UAV. Solids-based carbon dioxide (CO2)adsorption, where CO2 is adsorbed under high pressure/low temperature and desorbed at low pressure/high temperature, is a low energy consumption capture technology with high carbon uptake efficiency. Critical infrastructures such as transportation and energy systems contain interdependencies that cannot be properly characterized without considering data visualization and trend extraction.

In this study, sensitivity analysis on twenty parameters is performed to determine the top three parameters which have the most significant impact on the energy performance of buildings. Background: Prior to COVID-19, telehealth (TH) implementation in most health systems was minimal. The transition to high rates of TH was dramatic in response to COVID-19, and many health systems struggled to develop optimal, efficient TH workflows. Hypothesis/Purpose: The primary purpose of this study was to evaluate the role of clinically integrated athletic trainers (ATs) into the TH transition of a major orthopedic academic center through growth of TH visits as well as physician satisfaction. Model continuity plays an important role in applications like system identification, adaptive control, and machine learning. This paper provides sufficient conditions under which input-output systems represented by locally convergent Chen-Fliess series are jointly continuous with respect to their generating series and as operators mapping a ball in an Lp-space to a ball in an Lq-space, where p and q are conjugate exponents. The starting point is to introduce a class of topological vector spaces known as Silva spaces to frame the problem and then to employ the concept of a direct limit to describe convergence. งานวิจัยนี้นำเสนอการปรับปรุงประสิทธิภาพพลังงานโดยการจัดตารางการเติมน้ำมันให้กับรถบรรทุกน้ำมันที่เข้ามารับน้ำมันในคลังน้ำมันกรณีศึกษา โดยการจัดตารางการรับน้ำมันจะคำนึงถึงความสำคัญของปั๊มมากกว่าคำสั่งซื้อน้ำมัน และคำสั่งซื้อที่ถูกจัดตารางเป็นคำสั่งซื้อที่สามารถรับน้ำมันได้หลายชนิดในเวลาเดียวกัน ประกอบกับการใช้งานปั๊มที่ปั๊มแต่ละตัวสามารถจ่ายน้ำมันให้กับรถบรรทุกน้ำมัน 2-5 คันพร้อม ๆ กัน ซึ่งกระบวนการจัดตารางจะเป็นแบบฮิวริสติกพลวัต (Dynamic Heuristic) โดยอาศัยกฎ Least Operation Remaining และ Largest Total Processing Time ในการจัดลำดับความสำคัญของใบคำสั่งซื้อ และการจัดตารางเวลาที่คำนึงถึงจำนวนหัวจ่ายที่ถูกใช้งาน งานที่เหลืออยู่ในระบบ และการใช้พลังงานของปั๊มที่เปลี่ยนแปลงตามเวลา จากการจัดตารางด้วยฮิวริสติกพลวัตทั้งหมด 6 วิธี พบว่าค่าพลังงานที่ใช้ต่อปริมาณน้ำมัน 1 ลิตรลดลงร้อยละ 42 จากการใช้พลังงานเฉลี่ยเดิม 0.42 วัตต์ชั่วโมงต่อลิตร เหลือเพียง 0.24 วัตต์ชั่วโมงต่อลิตร มีผลให้ประหยัดค่าใช้จ่ายด้านพลังงานเฉลี่ยของปั๊มเป็นจำนวนเงิน 199,006.25 บาทต่อเดือน ทั้งนี้การจัดตารางดังกล่าวดำเนินการภายใต้กระบวนการจัดตารางที่รู้จำนวนงานล่วงหน้า ไม่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงจำนวนงานระหว่างการจัดตาราง ที่ถูกออกแบบโดยการคำนึงถึงลักษณะทางกายภาพของคลังน้ำมันเป็นหลัก

This research aims to evaluate the nature of business and apply a suitable inventory policy to a case study food-repackaging company. The company adopted bulk-purchasing to packaging inventory to realize the economy of scales. Because of the lacks of purchasing standard and monitoring, this inventory policy led to the overstock, deadstock, and obsolete packaging inventories as well as the fluctuation of inventory turnover rate. The further category analysis of the packaging inventories using ABC analysis reveals that special customized bags and packaging items have a long lead time due to international sourcing and high minimum order quantity (MOQ).
