Abstract: Aiming at the risk priority numbers of different failure modes being equal and the criticality of the fault modes changing greatly due to the tiny change of the risk parameters, a method of the failure modes analysis based on the weighted evidence theory is proposed from the perspective of the methodology of dealing with the uncertainty problem. Abstract: Aiming at the design requirements of the reconfigurable video array processor and the problem of traditional method testing the video codec system with slow speed, low precision and poor observability. A Qt-based user interface is developed, and a hardware-software co-testing platform based on FPGA is designed and implemented. The platform realizes the data transmission and image reproduction based on the software simulation on the PC side, and the parallel mapping of the video encoding and decoding algorithms based on the reconfigurable video array processor on the FPGA side. Abstract: Aiming at the equipment shortage, serious resource loss and hidden dangers in traditional horizontally oriented drilling rig training, a design scheme of the horizontally oriented drilling rig virtual training system based on the Unity3D is proposed. An experimental platform is built to verify the feasibility. The solidworks, 3dsMax model construction, Unity3D software virtual animation and scene development, Rodrigues rotation matrix 3D trajectory algorithm derivation, data acquisition (DAQ), system software and hardware communication and other technical content are used in the program. Abstract: A force/position hybrid control method for polishing the complex surface with an industrial robot is put forward. The method can achieve the stable force control and precise position control to ensure the consistency of the material removal rate at different normal vectors. Abstract: Aiming at the characteristics of the multivariable, strong coupling and large time delay of the grinding classification system, the improved inverse decoupling active disturbance rejection internal model control method is proposed. The inverse decoupling method is used to realize the decoupling of the grinding classification system, and the improved internal model control and linear active disturbance rejection control are adopted for the decoupled subsystem. Abstract: In order to deeply study the motion behavior of vehicles in the rear-end collision, a vehicle rear end collision accident model is established in the PC-Crash simulation environment. Considering with the relative velocity, offset, speed of the rear-end vehicle and wheel angle, the acceleration, yaw angle and yaw rate of the vehicle are obtained. The research results show that when the bias degree is 20%, the yaw angles of the rear-end vehicle and rear tracked vehicle is the biggest, and is easy to induce the secondary accidents such as rollover and fixtures crash. Abstract: In the existing drug abuse dynamics models, the drug users are assumed to be permanent immune to drugs after rehabilitation and the possibility of the recovery drug users being susceptible again is neglected. To solve the problem, through the system dynamics (SD) method, the evolution process of the drug-related crowds is analyzed, and a relevant model based on the transient immunity is constructed. Abstract: The persistence and gradual change of the typhoons and other dynamic disasters, increase the complexity of the fault recovery process. In order to quickly restore the power to the active distribution network, a two-stage dynamic emergency operational strategy is proposed and the corresponding overall optimization model is established. The strategy includes the resource allocation plan, island partition scheme and cooperative scheme of the emergency repair and restoration. Abstract: In order to identify the interactive dissemination rules of the multiple public opinion information (POI) in major emergencies and make the intervention decisions more pertinently, an intervention model of interactive dissemination is proposed. The model integrates the characteristics of the unequal competition of multiple POI, expands the existing intervention model of the single POI dissemination, and could analyze the intervention measures from the global perspective of the interactive dissemination. Reverse auction theory is the basis for competitive construction bidding process. The lowest bid method is utilized for selecting contractors in public projects. The winning contractor having the lowest bid value could be cursed when the submitted bid value results in negative profits. This is caused by many factors such as the contractor's estimation accuracy and markup. This is addressed in this paper by providing a model simulating the construction competitive bidding and the occurrence of the winner's curse. This paper addresses the scalability challenge of automatic deep neural architecture search by implementing a parameter sharing approach with regularized genetic algorithm (RGE). The key idea is to use a regularized genetic algorithm (RGE) on a pre-determined template and discover a high-performance architecture by searching for the optimal chromosome. During evolution, each model corresponding to a discovered chromosome is trained for a fixed number of epochs to minimize a canonical cross-entropy loss on a given training dataset. Natural disasters like earthquakes and floods can have a serious impact on road networks, which are critical to supply chain infrastructure and to provide connectivity. These extreme events can result in isolating people in the affected area from hospitals and emergency response. Data Science applications represent a growing fraction of the scientific computing workload, many of them written in Python. The goal of this paper is to compare two popular parallel programming models, namely MPI and Apache Spark for Python based Data Science applications. The paper presents communication and file I/O microbenchmarks to evaluate the MPI support for Python applications and uses two applications use-cases from Natural Language Processing to compare the performance of the MPI and the Spark versions. Sensors have become inevitable part of many studies and working areas ranging from navigation, transportation and medical applications. A sensor can help a user in a variety of situations including dangerous, inaccessible, time and money-consuming circumstances. Applying multiple sensors simultaneously allows for improving the accuracy of measurement estimates for system states. As an example, a part of this study uses a GPS sensor to increase the accuracy of the position estimation obtained by an IMU in an indoor environment. A wireless sensor network (WSN) is a group of sensors deployed over an area, which monitor changes in the environment, collects them as data and forwards it between sensors through wireless links. Data is routed, either in a single-hop or multi-hop manner, with the goal of getting this collected data to the sink nodes, which have higher computational capabilities and connects the network with a user interface. ABSTRACT: The main aim of this dissertation is to study how unrecognized opportunities for improving efficiency of in-person patient visits in a primary care clinic can be identified and addressed. To fulfill this goal, the research is divided into three distinct but related sections. Section one, with the most holistic view, uses a combination of scientific and rigorous methods along two research paths and, as a result, explores two opportunities for improvement in the clinic.
