Recent attacks on America's critical infrastructure have drawn increased attention on securing industrial control systems and operational technology in power plants, utility companies, and other sectors providing public services. Attack detection and mitigation strategies on these systems have shown promising results using machine learning and other statistical baselining techniques, mostly using supervised learning and classification. Unsupervised learning using cluster analysis and other techniques remain mostly unexplored. The increasing complexity of cybersecurity challenges necessitates a holistic educational approach that integrates both technical skills and humanistic perspectives. This article examines the importance of infusing humanities disciplines such as history, ethics, political science, sociology, law, and anthropology—into cybersecurity education. Through a pilot course developed for Staten Island Technical High School, aligned with the New York State K-12 Computer Science and Digital Fluency Standards, students were introduced to an interdisciplinary curriculum that combined technical cybersecurity training with historical analysis, ethical reasoning, and sociopolitical context. This thesis focuses on examining the resilience of secure quantum networks to environmental noise. Specifically, we evaluate the effectiveness of two well-known quantum key distribution (QKD) protocols: the Coherent One-Way (COW) protocol and Kak’s Three-Stage protocol (Kak06). The thesis systematically evaluates these protocols in terms of their efficiency, operational feasibility, and resistance to noise, thereby contributing to the progress of secure quantum communications. Using simulations, this study evaluates the protocols in realistic scenarios that include factors such as noise and decoherence. This paper reviews cybersecurity laws and regulations in Cameroon, focusing on cybersecurity and information security audits and risk assessments. The importance of cybersecurity risk assessment and the implementation of security controls to cure deficiencies noted during risk assessments or audits is a critical step in developing cybersecurity resilience. Cameroon's cybersecurity legal framework provides for audits but does not explicitly enumerate controls. Consequently, integrating relevant controls from the NIST frameworks and ISO Standards can improve the cybersecurity posture in Cameroon while waiting for a comprehensive revision of the legal framework. Vehicle-to-Everything communications (V2X) is gaining additional ground as an upcoming ad hoc safety network. In V2X, basic safety messages are used for exchanging critical information between vehicles at a set broadcast rate. However, jamming attacks on the safety spectrum could deny V2X radios the ability to save lives on the roadway. This preliminary work analyzes two types of primitive jamming attacks performed on target V2X devices.
