Data collecting and preparing is generally considered a crucial process in data science projects. Especially for image data, adding semantic attributes when preparing image data provides much more insights for data scientists. In this project, we aim to implement a general-purpose central image data repository that allows image researchers to collect data with semantic properties as well as data query. The objective of this research is to investigate a way of interaction between humans and robots, which is through voice or speech commands. A Biomimetic Artificial Hand (BAH) is used as a platform to perform grasping tasks using human voice as an interacting and instructing medium between humans and robots. It is a hands-free approach of issuing commands to the BAH since it does not require the user to wear any specialized equipment.
