The government has built many similar units all over Egypt, especially Cairo, without considering the differences between residents, studying the areas from which they came, or preparing the neighborhoods they moved to, and they did not follow Vision 2030, which stipulates achieving sustainability in modern urban societies. The research aims to prepare alternative housing areas to be environmentally sustainable and to provide guiding principles for the design of alternative residential neighborhoods.
