United States Department of Defense Military Intelligence
This manual contains a theoretical description of technical intelligence within US forces in the field. It contains a brief historical sketch of the evolution of technical intelligence and a description of national intelligence organizations and an explanation of the relationships between them.
It explains technical intelligence organization, operations, and responsibilities within a US command in the field. It contains extensive examples of documents and forms used in technical intelligence operations, a detailed foreign language recognition guide, an extensive list of abbreviations, and a detailed glossary.

United States Department of Defense Military Intelligence
This manual explains the importance of medical intelligence in planning and execution of military operations. It describes the responsibilities of medical and intelligence staffs and personnel at each echelon especially within a US military command in the field. It explains the role and functions of the Armed Forces Medical Intelligence Center which provides “medical scientific and technical intelligence and general medical intelligence” for the US Armed Forces.
The manual explains procedures used to report intelligence information and to request intelligence reports as well as the forms used for those purposes.

Convective Regimes In Reactive Fluid Media Due To The Interaction With Catalytic Surfaces, Hendrik J. Viljoen, Jorge E. Gatica, Vladimir Hlavacek
Convective Regimes In Reactive Fluid Media Due To The Interaction With Catalytic Surfaces, Hendrik J. Viljoen, Jorge E. Gatica, Vladimir Hlavacek
Papers in Reaction Kinetics
Reactive fluid media enclosed in a cavity with a catalytic surface are analyzed. Nonisothermal chemical reactions on this surface can lead to convective instabilities. A simplified model is developed by using a low-order truncation of a Fourier-type expansion and employing the Galerkin method. A linear stability analysis is presented and it is shown that, under certain conditions, the marginal curve for the onset of oscillatory instabilities can lie below that for monotonic ones. The stability of the convective modes is studied by nonlinear stability analysis and it is shown how they can evolve into periodic and nonperiodic motion patterns. Numerical …

DAVID BROWN TRACTORS: INSIDE STORY
A summary of the design and manufacturing achievements of David Brown Tractors Ltd.
David Brown 'Firsts'
Few if any, tractor manufacturers can equal the David Brown record of pioneering achievement in tractor maufacture and development. Major examples are:
1937 - World's first farm tractor equipped with hydraulic lift and converging 3-point linkage
1948 - Two-speed power take-off, six-speed gearbox
1949 - High-speed direct injection diesel engine for farm tractors
1953 - Traction control (implement weight transfer)
1959 - All purpose tractor hydraulic system with single lever control.
1964 - Dial-controlled tractor hydraulic system
1968 - …

Engineer Intelligence Guide 33, Preparation Of Terrain Diagrams, June 1960, Robert Bolin , Depositor
United States Department of Defense Military Intelligence
In 1960, geographic intelligence in the US Armed Forces was decentralized. The Intelligence and Mapping Division of the US Army Corps of Engineers was primarily responsible for creation of military intelligence concerning the surface of the earth excluding the oceans and seas for the armed forces of the United States. Engineer intelligence guides were issued to provide guidance concerning collection, processing, production, and dissemination of geographic intelligence to elements of the Corps of Engineers.
This engineer intelligence guide explains the differences between maps and terrain diagrams and provides examples using actual maps and terrain diagrams. The maps and terrain diagrams …

History Of Technical Intelligence, Army General School, Robert Bolin , Depositor
United States Department of Defense Military Intelligence
This is an excellent description of the history of Army technical intelligence during World War II. It gives good descriptions of technical intelligence in the various theaters of operation and of the lessons learned from each. The experience in the Pacific Theater was highlighted. The use of a Technical Intelligence Company in the Pacific has proven an influential model for the organization of technical intelligence in the field in later wars. The first part of the document is an outline showing how to present the material to the students. The final 8 pages are a summary of the material covered …

History Of Ordnance Technical Intelligence In World War Ii, Part 1: History, Orders & Circulars, And Publicity, Robert Bolin , Depositor
United States Department of Defense Military Intelligence
During World War II, the Ordnance Department was one of the army technical services. There were a number of technical services including the Chemical Warfare Service, the Army Medical Department, the Corps of Engineers, the Quartermaster Corps, the Signal Corps, and the Transportation Corps. The technical services were bureaus providing weapons, equipment, and services to the Army. They managed the careers of officers in their corresponding branches, and organized special military units. They also ran schools to train individual and military units in their specialties.
During World War II the emphasis of technical intelligence was foreign weapons and equipment. The …
