Objective Carbon sequestration technology represents a core approach to achieving carbon neutrality. However, its large-scale application remains constrained by multiple technical and scientific challenges. Methods Based on an analysis of existing carbon sequestration projects, this study identified four major challenges in carbon sequestration: (1) high uncertainty in the assessment of CO2 sequestration capacity; (2) low injectivity of low-permeability discontinuous reservoirs; (3) a limited understanding of long-term mechanical stability; and (4) significant difficulty in assessing the risks of CO2 leakage. Objective and Method Currently, there remains a lack of criteria for technical certification, designation, and classification of carbon dioxide (CO2) storage technologies due to their cross-disciplinary nature and ambiguous scopes. To address this issue, this study proposes technical certification criteria and designation principles, as well as analyzes four types of common CO2 storage technologies: geologic storage, underground space storage, ocean water storage, and utilization and storage. Objective and Method Adsorbed phase density represents a key parameter for determining gas adsorption capacity in coals. Using bituminous coal samples from the Huainan and Huaibei mining areas in Anhui Province, this study carried out high-pressure isothermal adsorption experiments of CO2 and CH4 at temperatures of 24 ℃, 36 ℃, and 48 ℃. Objective Coal production and utilization lead to substantial carbon emissions, and the carbon emissions from underground coal mines have attracted increasing attention. This study evaluates the effectiveness of log transformation in enhancing multiple regression models used to forecast air traffic movements (ATMs) in South Africa during the COVID-19 pandemic. Using 60 monthly observations from October 2016 to September 2021, the analysis incorporates variables such as revenue, lockdown levels, COVID-19 metrics, exchange rates, gross domestic product, and population. Two models are compared: one using raw ATMs and another with log-transformed ATMs as the dependent variable.

Single crystals of LnFe(SO4)3(H2O)2 (Ln = La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm; compounds 1–11) and LnFe(SO4)3(H2O) (Ln = Tm, Yb, Lu; compounds 12–14) were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction (SCXRD) analysis revealed that the dihydrated compounds (1–11) crystallize in centrosymmetric (CS) structures, with the lanthanide ions adopting eight-coordinate geometries. In contrast, the monohydrated compounds (12–14) exhibit noncentrosymmetric (NCS) structures, where the lanthanide ions are seven-coordinated. Abstract: To address the limitations of region-based object tracking (RBOT) in handling isotropic objects and scenarios with similar foreground-background colors, an improved method integrating edge features is proposed. The approach employs edge detection to extract object contours and designs a region segmentation strategy incorporated into an energy function framework to optimize internal line and edge consistency, thereby enhancing adaptability in dynamic environments and improving pose estimation accuracy. Abstract: To address the issue of the time-consuming and labor-intensive manual conversion of two-dimensional CAD design drawings of buildings into three-dimensional models, and leveraging the characteristic that stadiums contain a large number of repetitively and regularly arranged objects, this study proposes a similar graphical element detection algorithm. Abstract: To improve the accuracy, controllability, and realism of text-driven human motion generation, a novel method is proposed that integrates fine-grained textual semantics with spatial control signals. Within the diffusion model framework, both global text tokens and body-part-level local tokens are introduced. These are encoded using CLIP to obtain corresponding features, which are then fed into the motion diffusion model to enable fine control over different body parts. Abstract: To address the challenge of detecting small and low-contrast defects in complex microscopic images, a defect method technology based on hierarchical microscopic feature modeling and simulation is proposed. However, due to their high-dimensional characteristics and the fact that a single planar image contains limited reflectance information and small differences, methods for estimating tabulated BRDFs typically require complex equipment or the capture of multiple images.
