An Analysis Of Heroku And Aws For Growing Startups, Colton B. Stapper
Computer Science and Software Engineering
This project presents information on the architecture of most modern cloud-hosting platforms, and gives a cost-benefit analysis of two common Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) companies: Heroku and AWS.

Electrical Engineering
This project documents the design and implementation of a solid state drive (SSD). SSDs are a non-volatile memory storage device that competes with hard disk drives. SSDs rely on flash memory, a type of non-volatile memory that is electrically erased and programmed. The appeal of SSDs lies in the fact that they allow a fast, reliable, and durable memory storage device. The goal of this project is to have a working external SSD built from scratch.
A Data-Driven Approach To Cubesat Health Monitoring, Serbinder Singh
A Data-Driven Approach To Cubesat Health Monitoring, Serbinder Singh
Master's Theses
Spacecraft health monitoring is essential to ensure that a spacecraft is operating properly and has no anomalies that could jeopardize its mission. Many of the current methods of monitoring system health are difficult to use as the complexity of spacecraft increase, and are in many cases impractical on CubeSat satellites which have strict size and resource limitations. To overcome these problems, new data-driven techniques such as Inductive Monitoring System (IMS), use data mining and machine learning on archived system telemetry to create models that characterize nominal system behavior. The models that IMS creates are in the form of clusters that …

Kappa Kappa Psi is a national honorary fraternity for college band members. They meet every Sunday night, and during these meetings they plan events (both internal and external) that aim to meet our goal of making sure that the Cal Poly band programs have their social, financial, material, and educational needs satisfied. This paper details the steps I took to create an application for them to use internally to help ease organizational processes.
