Study On Task Allocation Of Uav Swarm Based On Cognitive Control, Ruixuan Wei, Zichen Wu
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: A centralized allocation method for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) swarm real-time task allocation is proposed. Based on the real-time battlefield situation, this method relies on the coordination scheduling layer to make allocation decisions, generates the strike order according to the strike efficiency ratio, and makes rolling optimization for real-time battlefield situation, so that the allocation results can always maintain the balance between optimization and efficiency within the current cognitive range. Particle swarm optimization (PSO) is used to solve the task assignment problem. In particular, a 2-D particle 0-1 coding and correction method for nonstandard particles is designed. The simulation …
Dynamic Task Allocation In Partially Defined Environments Using A* With Bounded Costs, James Hendrickson
Dynamic Task Allocation In Partially Defined Environments Using A* With Bounded Costs, James Hendrickson
Doctoral Dissertations and Master's Theses
The sector of maritime robotics has seen a boom in operations in areas such as surveying and mapping, clean-up, inspections, search and rescue, law enforcement, and national defense. As this sector has continued to grow, there has been an increased need for single unmanned systems to be able to undertake more complex and greater numbers of tasks. As the maritime domain can be particularly difficult for autonomous vehicles to operate in due to the partially defined nature of the environment, it is crucial that a method exists which is capable of dynamically accomplishing tasks within this operational domain. By considering …
Task Allocation Modeling For Agent-Oriented Uuv Collaborative System, Hongtao Liang, Fengju Kang
Task Allocation Modeling For Agent-Oriented Uuv Collaborative System, Hongtao Liang, Fengju Kang
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: Task allocation modeling plays an important role in UUV collaborative system. In order to solve task allocation problem for the collaborative capability and efficiency, the Extended Contract Net Protocol (ECNP) task allocation approach was creatively proposed, which mainly focused on narrow the scope of communication and improving the negotiation efficiency. In this approach, Regional Trust Degree was introduced to narrow the scope in Announcement stage; and the capacity constraints (Energy-state, Health-State, and Detecting-window) were employed to decide whether to participate in bidding stage; also mixed-weighting evaluation strategy based on Game theory was proposed to evaluate the biding in Awarding …

A Parallel Simulation Method For Combat Organization And Implementation, Yaxin Tan, Jianhua Luo, Fan Rui, Zhiming Dong
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: Aiming at the difficult problem of battle parallel simulation, the realization of parallel simulation based on combat organization is analyzed theoretically. Furthermore, a parallel simulation based on combat organization is proposed. One by one, the methods of the simulation task partitioning, the simulation task integration and interaction between integration method are given. This paper breaks through the key technology of parallel simulation, based on the parallel simulation integration framework, implements the system integration, builds the parallel simulation prototype system of the size of the brigade, develops parallel simulation task allocation software, designs the operational application case, and tests parallel …

Research On Task Allocation Method Of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Cluster Network, Rugen Wang, Weimin Li, Yonglan Liu, Jinsong Liu
Journal of System Simulation
Abstract: The cluster network is one of the typical multi unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)cooperative engagement mode. Task allocation is the basic premise making use of combat effectiveness of the cluster network. Aiming at this problem, the model and algorithm of task allocation are put forward. Task allocation problem of the cluster network and hierarchical structure of task allocation are analyzed. Task allocation model of the cluster network is built via the idea of hierarchy analysis. Task allocation algorithm of the cluster network based on PSO-ICWPA is put forward combining the advantage of intelligent optimization algorithm. Simulated analysis of task allocation model …
Exploiting Belief Bounds: Practical Pomdps For Personal Assistant Agents, Pradeep Varakantham, Rajiv Maheswaran, Milind Tambe

Agents or agent teams deployed to assist humans often face the challenges of monitoring the state of key processes in their environment (including the state of their human users themselves) and making periodic decisions based on such monitoring. POMDPs appear well suited to enable agents to address these challenges, given the uncertain environment and cost of actions, but optimal policy generation for POMDPs is computationally expensive. This paper introduces three key techniques to speedup POMDP policy generation that exploit the notion of progress or dynamics in personal assistant domains. Policy computation is restricted to the belief space polytope that remains …
