The Story As A Cultural Transmitter: Applications For Business Education, Carol Blaszczynski, Ph.D.
International Journal for Business Education
Stories assist in transmitting cultural wisdom, including wisdom about the business community. The role of stories in various contexts such as education (including international management), management, and marketing, as well as the job search is explained. The article concludes by presenting instructional activities for business education that develop cultural competence through stories.

The need for CAD/CAM/CNC curriculum for Washington State was researched. Based on research a resource workbook for CAD/CAM/CNC was in demand. In order to meet the demand for CAD/CAM/CNC curriculum and bridge the gap between the state standards, drafting frameworks, STEM curriculum, increased focus on implementation within multiple disciplines, providing a starting point for teachers who want to use CNC machinery in their program, and prepare students for quality jobs and careers related to CAD/CAM/CNC, a workbook was created. This dissertation examines the history and impact of color-blind educational reform in the post-Brown era on racial inequality of educational opportunities and outcomes in America's public schools. Through the lens of critical race theory and race critical theory, the dissertation employs a dual analysis. A macro analysis of the evolution and impact of colorblind educational reform on the national level is juxtaposed with a micro, case-study analysis of the history of color-blind educational reform at a historically Black high school. The purpose of the study is to provide the writer an opportunity to propose an Industrial Arts guide for Kusaie High School, Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands. This particular guide has never been proposed for this high school. Kusaie High School is rapidly enlarging its enrollment, expanding its staff, and planning a new campus. To educate adequately the increasing number of students and effectively plan the new campus, an Industrial Arts guide is a paramount necessity.
