Paper Topic area: Science Fiction and Fantasy - True Blood (Burnett) In the popular HBO series True Blood and the novels by Charlaine Harris on which they are based, Sookie Stackhouse is a thoroughly postmodern Southern Belle. Sookie’s decisions are based on her notions of what it is to be a ‘lady’ and on her Christian beliefs.
