This research aims to describe students’ achievement in solving word problem based on the students’ ability to make multiple representations. This research conducted by give two word problems to 29 students in XII SMA. In each problem, students asked to make visual and symbolic representation which is represents the story given, and then solve the problem with the procedure to solve it as detail as possible. Creative thinking skills can develop well through Project Based Learning (PjBL). The purpose of this study was export student’s creative thinking skills in PjBL on static fluid materials. The subjects were 32 students of XMIPA D2 SMAN 9 Malang. The research method used was Mixed Methods Embedded Experimental Model. The results: (1) there were differences student’s creative thinking skill before and after PjBL on static fluid material significantly; (2) students’s creative thinking skill have a positive change when posttest with increasing percentage of achievement of indicator of creative thinking skill consist of elaboration, originality, fluency, and flexibility.

This study aimed to describe the ability of multilateral FD students to solve the problem of Pythagoras and its scaffolding. The data collection begins with GEFT and test 1. The subject's examination process is analyzed based on the SOLO taxonomy to see its level of ability. The results showed that the ability of multistructural level FD subjects could use some of the information provided for problem solving, but the answer given was not accurate. Scaffolding efforts to increase the level of FD students' ability from multistructural level to relational level consist of reviewing, restructuring, and developing contextual thinking.

Motivation to learn is the driving or moving of someone to learn. Motivation to learn can come from within from the stimulation of the surrounding environment. Master’s actions are one of the forms of learning that comes from environmental stimuli. This study aims to determine the relationship of learning with learning achievement, teacher learning with learning achievement, and learning with teachers and learning achievement at SDN 029 Tarakan. This type of research is a quantitative research. The result showed there was a very strong relationship between learning motivation and teacher action with learning achievement.

The objective of this study is to ascertain the effectiveness of ctitical thingking skills (KBK) dan Higher Order Thingking Skills (HOTS) students taught using GDL (Guided Discovery Learning) dan Problem Solving on acid base material. The samples of the study were two classes of eleventh grade at SMAN 5 Banjarmasin. The instrument of concept mastery test of this study was consisted of 4 essay questions with reliability Cronbach’s alpha 0.67. This study was the study case in one of class in SMAN 8 Muaro Jambi. This aims of the research to examine the effect of industry support to the success of students performing in teaching factory. Teaching factory is a production-based on learning that brings the industry atmosphere into learning. This learning is expected to make students ready to work, so that unemployment SMK graduates can be reduced. Data analysis in this research use descriptive and regression analysis. The results showed that industry support influenced to the successful implementation of teaching factory with 39.2% of effective contribution.

Teacher’S Scaffolding Moves In Communication Strategies In Secondary School Efl Classes, Wahyu Usadiati

Bahasa dan Seni: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, Seni, dan Pengajarannya

Teachers have their own strategies in communicating their messages in EFL classes. The strategies may be in the form of verbal and nonverbal signals to get the message through to the students. The results of the study show that scaffolding moves were mostly used by the teacher, consisting of organizing and maintaining student’s interest and motivation, modeling, code switching, explaining or elaborating, eliciting student’s response, checking student’s comprehension, and providing wait time. Non-verbal signals always occur for the accompaniment of the verbalization of the teacher’s messages.
