The social isolation, economic stress, resource barriers, and enduring uncertainties of the COVID-19 interventions created a “perfect storm” for youth anxiety, depression, grief and trauma. This presentation will provide participants with strategies to energize, recharge, and upgrade their Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and trauma-informed practices to better meet the needs of the 21st Century learner. Participants will be exposed to researched-based strategies, methods, and techniques to scale up their SEL initiatives. They will also learn ways to incorporate trauma-informed practices into their school culture and classroom routines.
