This is a book review of Michael Kimmel's 2008 book, Guyland: The perilous world where boys become men. The review was written with a focus on the challenges young men face during the college years, and the impact that a "charasmatic adult" such as a fraternity advisor can have on their lives.

The paper is a mixed methods evaluation of a program for new members of a college fraternity to introduce men who have joined the fraternity within a year to the corporate values of the organization, to their responsibilities as members, and to work towards a reduction in alcohol consumption among members.
