This dissertation entitled Philosophy of Education According To Ibn Khaldūn and John Dewey : Comparison Study is focused on education concept, aim and methodology used by them to driven and to carry out education activities. It interpretes the thoughts by these two personalities to determain the similarities and differences of education thought by Ibn Khaldūn who represent the Islamic world and Dewey from the Western. This study uses the documentation method to gather data while data analysis are done through inductive, deductive and comparative methods.
