Patellar tendinopathy (PT), a chronic tendon disorder marked by load-dependent pain, predominantly affects athletic populations. Current management emphasizes eccentric exercise modalities, particularly heavy slow resistance (HSR) training combining eccentric-concentric phases versus isolated eccentric protocols. Emerging evidence indicates that HSR not only matches traditional eccentric training in pain relief but functional surpasses it in enhancing neuromuscular control and patient-reported outcomes. This review examines HSR's mechanistic foundations and clinical effectiveness to guide evidence-based rehabilitation protocols for PT. While muscle activation patterns during impact are critical to injury mechanisms, how cervical and lumbar electromyographic (EMG) responses scale with collision intensity remains unclear. Developmental coordination disorder (DCD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by motor coordination impairments and motor learning difficulties. Compared with typically developing children, children with DCD often exhibit deficits in postural control, strength, and cardiorespiratory fitness. This study used a systematic review method to review the relevant evidence of video-game interventions in children with DCD, aiming to explore the mechanisms of somatosensory interaction technology on balance ability of children with DCD, and provide evidence-based recommendations for parents, teachers, and rehabilitation therapists. This study employed systematic review, network meta-analysis, and traditional meta-analysis to investigate the interventional effects of exercise on working memory in children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
