The purpose of this pilot study was to determine the effect of teacher professional development for working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and teacher (N = 56) self-efficacy in the general education classroom. A pretest/posttest quasi-experimental research design was implemented. Teachers in one randomly assigned school received professional development training on research-based practices in working with students with autism to determine if the training had any effect on their perceived self-efficacy ratings and teachers in the other school were randomly assigned to serve as the control (i.e., no additional professional development training was provided during the research phase). …

Moreover, they solve a real-life situation by choosing the most economical tiles for their kitchen. This last part (3) of the assignment develops critical thinking and expressing one's thought processes. Part 3 can be used as an in-class discussion, which further promotes reasoning skills.

This study utilized a phenomenological approach to explore parent perspectives about kindergarten readiness. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 10 parents from a public preschool whose children were about to start kindergarten. The parents’ own kindergarten experiences were discussed as well as their perspectives and beliefs about what kindergarten readiness means as it relates to the preparation for and transition into kindergarten. Interview transcripts were analytically coded resulting in findings that were authentic and specific related to personal kindergarten recollections, kindergarten preparedness practices, and assumptions about preschool used as a kindergarten preparation tool. The purpose of my research project was to design a second-grade writing curriculum focused on developing foundational writing skills. Utilizing backwards curriculum design methods (Wiggins & McTighe, 2005) I developed a six-week writing curriculum that integrated the Schaffer paragraph writing method (Roybal, 2012), pre-planning, and peer editing. To construct this curriculum plan I designed my learning goals, assessments, and lessons that would teach the three writing strategies. I employed a pre and post-test style of assessment and analyzed each student’s growth by comparing their two writing artifacts. Mathematics textbooks typically include word problems or story problems that require students to develop extended written responses. Yet, the answers to these prompts can vary so widely that preservice and inservice teachers must be prepared for multiple levels of interpretation of the language used to capture mathematical thinking. This qualitative case study examined teachers’ perceptions and use of adaptive diagnostic assessment for improving teaching and learning of elementary level mathematics. Specifically, this case study was conducted at some of the leading primary schools in a Midwestern school district. However, empirical evidence show educators are unclear how to integrate technology and it is often used to support past teaching practices. Designbased research (DBR) involving a grounded theory design was used to construct a set of seven detailed education technology standards to provide guidance on how technology should be integrated and a set of 24 examples as indicators of these standards. Urban teacher residency (UTR) programs place residents in urban schools labeled “hard-to-staff” or “under-resourced.” Enrollment in residency schools tends to be majority Brown or Black students from various cultures. Teacher residents are from diverse backgrounds and races who have a commitment to teach in Title 1 schools with the support of a residency program that coaches them how to teach using culturally relevant pedagogy. Research on self-harm and children tends to focus on adolescent children (12 years of age and above). There is limited available information about self-harm in children ages 11 years and younger. This study utilized autoethnography as the methodology to provide a rich description of the professional experiences and practices of an elementary school principal who worked with self-harming primary-aged students. Based on an autoethnographical analysis, this study proposes future research and makes recommendations for school leaders implementing trauma-informed practices, educators working with self-harming students, and districts committed to proactive support.

Despite mathematical reasoning being necessary for in-depth understanding of mathematical concepts, many teacher experience difficulty in assessing it. Data were collected from 34 primary teachers at 4 Victorian government schools at two post- lesson reflective sessions following lessons with a focus on reasoning. These sessions facilitated teachers’ collaborative efforts to assess their students’ reasoning from students’ work samples. The data included transcripts of all the reflective sessions; written work samples; and associated completed rubrics. This research study outlined a professional-development program for training preschool teachers in Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences. The program then continued training in practical applications of the theory for instructional use in the classroom. The preschool director and teachers’ perceptions and experiences were documented and provided the data to assess the impact of the training on the instructional strategies demonstrated in the classrooms. Attention was paid to any impact on classroom management, teacher morale, and cohesive instructional vision throughout the school.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ คือ 1) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการคิดเชิงคำนวณของนักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ตามแนวคิดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้เกมเป็นฐานกับนักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์แบบปกติ และ 2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการคิดเชิงคำนวณของนักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ตามแนวคิดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้เกมเป็นฐานหลังเรียนและก่อนเรียน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาวิจัยเป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 โรงเรียนเอกชนในจังหวัดสุรินทร์ สังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการศึกษาเอกชน จำนวน 2 ห้องเรียน ห้องเรียนละ 30 คน รวมทั้งสิ้น 60 คน โดยกำหนดกลุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยวิธีเลือกแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แผนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ตามแนวคิดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้เกมเป็นฐานจำนวน 17 แผน โดยตรวจสอบคุณภาพเครื่องมือจากค่าดัชนีความสอดคล้องของผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ และแบบวัดความสามารถในการคิดเชิงคำนวณฉบับก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียน โดยตรวจสอบคุณภาพเครื่องมือจากค่าดัชนีความสอดคล้องของผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ วิเคราะห์ค่าความยาก ค่าอำนาจจำแนก และค่าความเที่ยง และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการเปรียบเทียบค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าทีด้วยการทดสอบสมมติฐานของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 2 กลุ่มที่เป็นอิสระจากกันและไม่เป็นอิสระจากกัน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) นักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ตามแนวคิดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้เกมเป็นฐานมีค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนการคิดเชิงคำนวณหลังเรียนสูงกว่านักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้แบบปกติอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และ 2) นักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์ตามแนวคิดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้เกมเป็นฐานมีค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนการคิดเชิงคำนวณหลังเรียนสูงกว่าค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาความสามารถในการใช้คำศัพท์จากการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษแบบเน้นคำศัพท์ โดยใช้กระบวนการคิดเชิงออกแบบต่อความสามารถทางคำศัพท์ของนักเรียนกลุ่มทดลอง 2) เปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ของความสามารถทางคำศัพท์ของนักเรียนกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุมหลังจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษแบบเน้นคำศัพท์ โดยใช้กระบวนการคิดเชิงออกแบบว่ามีความต่างกันอย่างไร 3) ศึกษาพฤติกรรมจากการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษแบบเน้นคำศัพท์ โดยใช้กระบวนการคิดเชิงออกแบบต่อความสามารถในการเรียนรู้คำศัพท์ของนักเรียนกลุ่มทดลอง กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยครั้งนี้คือนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2564 โรงเรียนบ้านนาราบ (จุลเกษตรศึกษาคาร) ใช้วิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Selection) มีจำนวนห้องเรียนเป็นหน่วยของการเลือก ห้องนักเรียนกลุ่มทดลองและห้องนักเรียนกลุ่มควบคุม มีจำนวนห้องละ 29 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบทดสอบความสามารถทางคำศัพท์ก่อนและ หลังการทดลอง และแบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมของกลุ่มทดลองต่อการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษแบบเน้นคำศัพท์โดยใช้กระบวนการคิดเชิงออกแบบ ในงานวิจัยครั้งนี้ใช้การคำนวณหาค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิต ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) การทดสอบค่าที (t-test) และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content analysis) ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ผลการวิจัยครั้งนี้สรุปได้ดังนี้ 1) หลังการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ โดยใช้กระบวนการคิดเชิงออกแบบของนักเรียนกลุ่มทดลอง นักเรียนมีความสามารถทางคำศัพท์สูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 2) หลังการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษนักเรียนกลุ่มทดลอง มีความสามารถทางคำศัพท์สูงกว่านักเรียนกลุ่มควบคุม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 3) เมื่อเรียนรู้ภาษาอังกฤษแบบเน้นคำศัพท์ โดยใช้กระบวนการคิดเชิงออกแบบ นักเรียนเกิดพฤติกรรมความมุ่งมั่นในการทำงาน มีความสนใจใฝ่รู้ รวมถึงการใช้ทักษะต่าง ๆ ระหว่างเรียนในด้าน ทักษะความร่วมมือรวมพลัง ทักษะการสร้างสรรค์และการดำเนินด้านนวัตกรรม

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการคิดแก้ปัญหาเชิงสร้างสรรค์ก่อนและหลังการใช้ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดเกมมิฟิเคของกลุ่มทดลอง 1 (2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการคิดแก้ปัญหาเชิงสร้างสรรค์ก่อนและหลังการใช้ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดเกมมิฟิเคร่วมกับการใช้เกมการศึกษาของกลุ่มทดลอง 2 และ (3) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการคิดแก้ปัญหาเชิงสร้างสรรค์หลังการใช้ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดเกมมิฟิเคชัน และการใช้ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดเกมมิฟิเคชันร่วมกับการใช้เกมศึกษาของกลุ่มทดลองกับการใช้ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบปกติของกลุ่มควบคุม กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 โรงเรียนแห่งหนึ่งสังกัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2564 จำนวน 30 คน โดยใช้วิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบวัดความสามารถในการคิดแก้ปัญหาเชิงสร้างสรรค์ และแบบบันทึกพฤติกรรมการคิดแก้ปัญหาเชิงสร้างสรรค์ (ระหว่างเรียน) วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วย ค่าเฉลี่ยส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่า t (t-test Dependent) และการทดสอบค่า F (F-test Independent) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) ผลการเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการคิดแก้ปัญหาเชิงสร้างสรรค์ก่อนและหลังใช้ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดเกมมิฟิเคชัน พบว่า หลังใช้สูงกว่าก่อนใช้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (2) ผลการเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการคิดแก้ปัญหาเชิงสร้างสรรค์ก่อนและหลังใช้ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดเกมมิฟิเคชันร่วมกับการใช้เกมการศึกษา พบว่า หลังใช้สูงกว่าก่อนใช้อย่างไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (3) ผลการเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการคิดแก้ปัญหาเชิงสร้างสรรค์หลังใช้ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดเกมมิฟิเคชัน และใช้ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดเกมมิฟิเคชันร่วมกับการใช้เกมศึกษาของกลุ่มทดลองกับการใช้ชุดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้แบบปกติของกลุ่มควบคุม พบว่า นักเรียนมีความสามารถในการคิดแก้ปัญหาเชิงสร้างสรรค์ต่างกันอย่างไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ.05
