Using The Enrichment Triad Model To Explore Place And Support Curriculum In One Rural Gifted Program, Myriah Mae Miller

Using narrative inquiry, this case study explored how one teacher, who had deep connections to place, learned and utilized the place-based Enrichment Triad in her rural Appalachian elementary gifted program. Data collected included teacher, student, and parent interviews and classroom observations. Data were analyzed using a socio-cultural narrative analysis and narrative thematic analysis. Results from analysis created thick descriptions of the teacher’s journey to teaching, her existing practices, her experiences learning and implementing the framework, and her future curricular intentions. The purpose of this research is to examine if there is a relationship between single-parent households and the effect on student learning. A total of seven parents and three elementary teachers took a survey. Students’ scores in math and reading from report cards and PARCC scores were also used as data sources. Results revealed that the involvement of single parents at school varies depending on the type of involvement, however, data from the report card review showed all the parents review their child’s report card. This dissertation is divided into three separate, related, naturalistic, quasi-experimental research studies, all using data from two kindergarten classes at Gator Elementary, a public Title I elementary school in Sunshine District in Central Florida. Each of these studies tested hypotheses that kindergarten children, especially those from low socioeconomic backgrounds, will show greater gains in receptive vocabulary, executive function, and academic achievement when purposeful play is used as a pedagogical approach than similar children in typical, contemporary kindergarten classrooms. The present study investigated the relationship between Academic Enablers (AEs) instruction and student achievement. Specifically, whether such behaviors and attitudes explicitly taught in a small group setting would improve students' academic performance. Students struggle academically and behaviorally for a variety of reasons, poor or lack of instruction, lack of motivation, or related to a disability, to recognize a few. Existing literature has identified several factors, (e.g., interpersonal/social skills, motivation, study skills, and engagement), known as AEs, that meaningfully contribute toward students' academic success. Gifted students have enormous potential, yet there are few consistent opportunities for gifted students to receive challenging instruction. Drawing upon literature detailing the history of gifted education nationally and in Illinois, this study sought to find what services were currently offered to Illinois students, and if the opportunities for gifted students were related to a district’s state funding tier. Findings indicated that the elementary gifted services being offered and the ways in which eligibility is determined were inconsistent among districts. This paper gives a brief summary of Halliday’s theory of how children learn to talk, illustrating the development of children’s language from the microfunctions through the macrofunctions and into the metafunctions of adult language. The paper points to a possible source of the misinterpretation of Halliday’s theory in the work of Frank Smith (1983), which appears to have “trickled down” into some of the textbooks written for pre-service teachers in Australia. This paper is based on a qualitative study examining multiliteracies (New London Group, 1996, 2000) and inclusivity. Underpinned by a socio-cultural approach, the study examined ways to facilitate meaningful literacy learning for students experiencing challenges in print-based, classroom activities. Key to this research was an analysis of how scaffolding was used to bridge home and school communities. The purpose of this study is to determine if the Instructional Design Model will improve science achievement. The study addressed the problem of low science achievement among 93 Grade 5 students. The theoretical framework that was applied to this study was developed by Ralph Tyler in 1949. The researcher believed that Tyler’s four-process curriculum planning approach guided teachers to look differently at teaching and learning. การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลการใช้ชุดกิจกรรม เรื่อง การใช้สื่อสังคมออนไลน์ตามแนวคิดปรากฏการณ์เป็นฐานร่วมกับการสะท้อนคิดที่มีต่อพฤติกรรมการรู้ดิจิทัลของนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษา ตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในงานวิจัย คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4-6 ที่เลือกเข้ากิจกรรมชมรมชวนคิดส์ออนไลน์ ประจำปีการศึกษา 2562 ของโรงเรียนแห่งหนึ่งในสังกัดกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัย และนวัตกรรม จำนวน 20 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในงานวิจัย คือ 1) ชุดการจัดกิจกรรมชมรม เรื่อง การใช้สื่อสังคมออนไลน์ โดยใช้ปรากฏการณ์เป็นฐาน และ 2) แบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการรู้ดิจิทัลของนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษา และเกณฑ์การประเมินพฤติกรรมการรู้ดิจิทัลของนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษา ฉบับก่อนเรียน และหลังเรียน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการหาค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน การทดสอบค่าที คะแนนพัฒนาการสัมพัทธ์ และการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. ผลคะแนนแบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการรู้ดิจิทัลของนักเรียน พบว่า ค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนพฤติกรรมการรู้ดิจิทัลของนักเรียนหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 2. ผลการวิเคราะห์คะแนนพัฒนาการสัมพัทธ์จากแบบสังเกตพฤติกรรมการรู้ดิจิทัลของนักเรียนประถมศึกษา พบว่า มีพัฒนาการในระดับที่แตกต่างกัน 3. ผลการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพที่สะท้อนพัฒนาการรู้ดิจิทัลของนักเรียนประถมศึกษา พบว่า เมื่อใช้ชุดกิจกรรมการใช้สื่อสังคมออนไลน์ตามแนวคิดปรากฏการณ์เป็นฐานร่วมกับการสะท้อนคิด นักเรียนมีพัฒนาการในแต่ละรายพฤติกรรมของการรู้ดิจิทัลที่แตกต่างกัน

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบทักษะการทำงานกลุ่มของนักเรียนก่อนและหลังการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กลวิธีพิพาทเชิงสร้างสรรค์ร่วมกับการใช้กรณีศึกษาและ 2) เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการทำงานกลุ่มของนักเรียนที่เข้าร่วมการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กลวิธีพิพาทเชิงสร้างสรรค์ร่วมกับการใช้กรณีศึกษา ตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4/1 ที่กำลังศึกษาในโรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒ ประสานมิตร (ฝ่ายประถม) ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2562 จำนวน 30 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย แผนการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กลวิธีพิพาทเชิงสร้างสรรค์ร่วมกับการใช้กรณีศึกษา จำนวน 16 แผน แบบประเมินทักษะการทำงานกลุ่ม และแบบบันทึกพฤติกรรมการทำงานกลุ่ม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยหาค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติทดสอบค่าที (t-test) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) นักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กลวิธีพิพาทเชิงสร้างสรรค์ร่วมกับการใช้กรณีศึกษา มีทักษะการทำงานกลุ่มหลังการทดลองสูงกว่าก่อนการทดลองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และ 2) พฤติกรรมการทำงานกลุ่มของนักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กลวิธีพิพาทเชิงสร้างสรรค์ร่วมกับการใช้กรณีศึกษามีการเปลี่ยนแปลงทั้ง 5 ทักษะ โดยทักษะที่พัฒนามากที่สุด คือ ทักษะการวางแผน รองลงมา คือ ทักษะการสื่อสาร ทักษะในการปฏิสัมพันธ์ ทักษะการแก้ปัญหา และทักษะการแก้ปัญหาความขัดแย้ง

งานวิจัยนี้เป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ มีวัตถุประสงค์ (1) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาทางการเรียนที่เกิดขึ้นกับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ที่เป็นนักเรียนไทย ในโรงเรียนนานาชาติ (2) เพื่อนำเสนอแนวทางการส่งเสริมความพร้อมแก่นักเรียนในรอยเชื่อมต่อทางการศึกษาจากระดับประถมศึกษาสู่ระดับมัธยมศึกษาในโรงเรียนนานาชาติ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ (1) แบบสัมภาษณ์ชนิดมีโครงสร้างคำถาม (2) แบบประเมินรับรองแนวทางการส่งเสริมความพร้อมสำหรับผู้เชี่ยวชาญ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ครูที่สอนในชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ในโรงเรียนนานาชาติ ประกอบด้วย โรงเรียนนานาชาติระบบอังกฤษ 2 โรงเรียน โรงเรียนนานาชาติระบบอเมริกัน 2 โรงเรียน โรงเรียนนานาชาติระบบสิงคโปร์ 2 โรงเรียน และโรงเรียนนานาชาติระบบ International Baccalaureate 1 โรงเรียน จำนวนทั้งหมด 7 โรงเรียน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้การวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ปัญหาทางการเรียนที่เกิดขึ้นกับนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ที่เป็นนักเรียนไทย ในโรงเรียนนานาชาติ มี 3 ด้าน ได้แก่ (1) พื้นฐานทางวิชาการ (2) สังคมและวัฒนธรรม และ (3) สภาพอารมณ์และจิตใจของนักเรียน และแนวทางการส่งเสริมความพร้อมได้ดังนี้ (1) แนวทางในการส่งเสริมความพร้อมด้านพื้นฐานทางวิชาการ (2) แนวทางการส่งเสริมความพร้อมด้านสังคมและวัฒนธรรม และ (3) แนวทางการส่งเสริมความพร้อมด้านสภาพอารมณ์และจิตใจ ซึ่งประกอบด้วยการจัดการเรียนการสอน การจัดสภาพแวดล้อมในชั้นเรียน และการสร้างความร่วมมือกับผู้ปกครอง

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เปรียบเทียบทักษะการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียนของผู้เรียนที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดการศึกษาคณิตศาสตร์ที่สอดคล้องกับชีวิตจริงร่วมกับความสามารถด้านมิติสัมพันธ์ 2) เปรียบเทียบทักษะการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ของผู้เรียนกลุ่มที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดการศึกษาคณิตศาสตร์ที่สอดคล้องกับชีวิตจริงร่วมกับความสามารถด้านมิติสัมพันธ์กับผู้เรียนกลุ่มที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์แบบปกติ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้เรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5-6 โรงเรียนขนาดเล็กแห่งหนึ่งในสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาสิงห์บุรี จำนวน 24 คนได้จากการเลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูล คือ แบบวัดทักษะการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ก่อนเรียน-หลังเรียน แบบบันทึกการสังเกตพฤติกรรมในการแก้ปัญหา และ แบบบันทึกการสัมภาษณ์แนวทางการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) และการทดสอบค่าที (t-test) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ผู้เรียนที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดการศึกษาคณิตศาสตร์ที่สอดคล้องกับชีวิตจริงร่วมกับความสามารถด้านมิติสัมพันธ์มีค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนทักษะในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์หลังเรียนแตกต่างจากก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .05 โดยคะแนนทักษะหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน 2) ผู้เรียนที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวคิดการศึกษาคณิตศาสตร์ที่สอดคล้องกับชีวิตจริงร่วมกับความสามารถด้านมิติสัมพันธ์มีค่าเฉลี่ยคะแนนทักษะในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์แตกต่างจากผู้เรียนที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้คณิตศาสตร์แบบปกติอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .05 โดยคะแนนทักษะผู้เรียนกลุ่มทดลองสูงกว่ากลุ่มควบคุม 3) ผู้เรียนที่ได้รับการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ตามแนวการศึกษาคณิตศาสตร์ที่สอดคล้องกับชีวิตจริงร่วมกับความสามารถด้านมิติสัมพันธ์มีทักษะในการแก้ปัญหาทางคณิตศาสตร์ที่ดีขึ้น

สะเต็มศึกษาเป็นแนวคิดที่เหมาะกับการเรียนรู้ของนักเรียนในยุคปัจจุบัน การให้ความรู้กับครูผ่านการอบรมเกี่ยวกับแนวคิดดังกล่าวจึงมีความสำคัญในการช่วยให้นักเรียนได้ใช้ทั้งความรู้และทักษะควบคู่กันไป วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยนี้เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษาผลของมาตรฐานครูที่ได้รับหลังการอบรมที่เกี่ยวกับการจัดการเรียนการสอนสะเต็มศึกษาจากหน่วยงานและองค์กรต่างๆ 2) เพื่อศึกษาผลของมาตรฐานครูจากการนำสิ่งที่ได้รับจากการอบรมของครูผู้สอนไปใช้ในการจัดการเรียนการสอน โดยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 2 กลุ่มคือ กลุ่มที่ 1 คือ ครูผู้สอนในระดับชั้นประถมศึกษา สังกัดสำนักเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษาในประเทศไทย ที่ผ่านการอบรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสะเต็มศึกษา ซึ่งได้จากการสุ่มแบบแบ่งกลุ่ม รวมทั้งสิ้น 156 คน สถิติที่ใช้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลได้แก่ การหาค่าความถี่ (f ) ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย (x̄ ) และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถามแบบเลือกตอบมาตรประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ กลุ่มที่ 2 คือ ครูผู้สอนที่ผ่านการอบรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสะเต็มศึกษาในระดับชั้นประถมศึกษา ศูนย์สะเต็มศึกษาตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง 1 (นครราชสีมา) จำนวน 2 โรงเรียน โดยสัมภาษณ์และสังเกตการสอนครูผู้สอนโรงเรียนละ 2 คน จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 4 คน รวมทั้งสัมภาษณ์นักเรียนโรงเรียนละ 5 คน จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 10 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บข้อมูล คือ แบบสัมภาษณ์ และแบบสังเกต ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ครูผู้สอนระดับประถมศึกษาที่ผ่านการอบรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสะเต็มศึกษา มีการปฏิบัติตามมาตรฐานครูของของสถาบันส่งเสริมการสอนวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง มีค่าเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 3.55 (S.D.=0.76) 2) ครูผู้สอนระดับประถมศึกษาหลังการนำสิ่งที่ได้รับจากการอบรมไปใช้ในชั้นเรียนประถมศึกษาตามมาตรฐานครูของสถาบันส่งเสริมการสอนวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี (สสวท.) โรงเรียนเครือข่ายสะเต็มศึกษา มีระดับการปฏิบัติปานกลาง มีค่าเฉลี่ยรวมเท่ากับ 3.59 (S.D.=0.78)

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของการใช้ชุดกิจกรรมรูปแบบเพื่อนช่วยไกล่เกลี่ยเพื่อพัฒนาความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาความขัดแย้งสำหรับสภานักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาในพื้นที่สามจังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ สภานักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4-6 ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2562 โรงเรียนขนาดใหญ่แห่งหนึ่งในสังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษาประถมศึกษายะลา เขต 1 จำนวน 31 คน โดยวิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง (Purposive Selection) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยแบ่งออกเป็น 2 ประเภท คือ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูล ประกอบด้วย 1) แบบวัดความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาความขัดแย้ง 2) แบบสัมภาษณ์นักเรียนเกี่ยวกับความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาความขัดแย้งแบบกึ่งโครงสร้าง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการทดลอง ประกอบด้วย 1) ชุดกิจกรรมรูปแบบเพื่อนช่วยไกล่เกลี่ย จำนวน 18 กิจกรรม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณจากแบบวัดความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาความขัดแย้งก่อนและหลังการเรียนรู้ด้วยชุดกิจกรรมรูปแบบเพื่อนช่วยไกล่เกลี่ยด้วยค่าเฉลี่ยและส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และทดสอบสมมุติฐานด้วยสถิติทดสอบ (Paired-Sample t-test) วิเคราะห์ความแตกต่างของคะแนนเฉลี่ยความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาความขัดแย้ง โดยใช้ค่าสถิติแบบ (Independent-sample-t-test) และการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพจากแบบสัมภาษณ์เกี่ยวกับความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาความขัดแย้ง โดยวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content Analysis) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักเรียนที่ได้รับการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยชุดกิจกรรมรูปแบบเพื่อนช่วยไกล่เกลี่ยมีความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาความขัดแย้งหลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 และนักเรียนเข้าใจความคิดความรู้สึกของตนเองและรับรู้ความรู้สึกของผู้อื่น รู้จักการเป็นผู้ฟังที่ดีและตระหนักถึงคุณค่าของกระบวนการเพื่อนช่วยไกล่เกลี่ยว่ามีความสำคัญกับตนเองในมิติของการจัดการความขัดแย้งที่เกิดขึ้นในโรงเรียน

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ก่อนและหลังการทดลองของกลุ่มทดลอง 2) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ก่อนและหลังการทดลองของกลุ่มควบคุม 3) เปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ระหว่างกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มควบคุม กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ปีการศึกษา 2561 ในโรงเรียนแห่งหนึ่งในจังหวัดสมุทรสาคร แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มทดลอง 25 คน และกลุ่มควบคุม 25 คน เครื่องมีที่ใช้ในการทดลอง คือ แผนการจัดกิจกรรมสะเต็มศึกษาโดยใช้กระบวนการออกแบบเชิงวิศวกรรมแบ่งเป็น แผนการจัดกิจกรรมสะเต็มศึกษาโดยใช้กระบวนการออกแบบเชิงวิศวกรรมรวมกับเทคนิคการใช้คำถาม จำนวน 10 แผน และแผนการจัดกิจกรรมสะเต็มศึกษาโดยใช้กระบวนการออกแบบเชิงวิศวกรรมเพียงอย่างเดียว จำนวน 10 แผน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบวัดความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ผู้วิจัยวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยหาค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าที ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ค่าเฉลี่ยความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาหลังการทดลองของกลุ่มทดลองสูงกว่าก่อนการทดลอง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 2) ค่าเฉลี่ยความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาหลังการทดลองของกลุ่มควบคุมสูงกว่าก่อนการทดลอง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 3) ค่าเฉลี่ยความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาหลังการทดลองของกลุ่มทดลอง ไม่แตกต่างจากค่าเฉลี่ยความสามารถในการแก้ปัญหาหลังการทดลองของกลุ่มควบคุม
