However, being acquainted with the amount of money available, the geographic and economic conditions, and the roads of the county it is the best that can be done under existing circumstances.

The new elementary school of the Central Washington College of Education, at Ellensburg, which was completed in September, 1939, is a foremost example of the new type of structure which is replacing the old and inadequate formal training school. The curriculum is based upon contemporary life and individual student needs.
