Integrative learning is an important outcome for graduates of higher education. Therefore, it should be well-defined and assessed reliably. The American Association of Colleges & Universities has developed a rubric to define and assess integrative learning, but it has low reliability. This pilot study examines whether this rubric's reliability can be improved by training users on how to use the rubric in a group setting rather than individually. Twelve faculty were trained to score undergraduate ePortfolios using the Integrative and Applied Learning VALUE Rubric. Differentiated instruction focuses on students’ readiness, interests, learning styles, and life circumstances, rather than a set curriculum. The perceptions faculty have about differentiated instruction can impact their willingness and ability to implement the practice in their classroom. The purpose of this qualitative case study was to explore, in a private school in a south-central U.S. state, middle school teachers’ perceptions of, expectations about, and experiences with differentiated instruction. Graduation rates for undergraduate degrees in STEM fields average just over 430,000 degrees per academic year (National Center for Education Statistics, 2023), leaving an approximate 2.5 million positions unfilled. The present study examines the suitability of the DIBELS 8^th edition assessment for use within the scope and context of the Energy Express summer literacy program. The 6-week summer program helps children in grades K-5 from rural and low-income West Virginia communities improve or maintain their reading levels over the summer months. Standard, grade-appropriate DIBELS 8^th subtests were administered to 1,065 participants at the beginning and end of Summer 2022. The resulting pre- and post-scores were cross-referenced with demographic data and attendance rates from 20 counties and 35 sites in West Virginia. They were then analyzed for correlations …

This study explores the impact of professional learning communities on student achievement in a small school setting. Aaron Hansen’s book, How to Develop PLCs for Singletons and Small Schools, offered a guide for arranging vertical, grade-level teams with one teacher per grade level at one private, K-8 school. The faculty engaged in high quality, effective professional development using PLC objectives and norms to analyze NEWA MAP data. They adapted instructional practices and implemented formative assessments to influence student growth in math and reading scores. The research literature surrounding instructor misbehaviors has been largely influenced by two typologies of misbehaviors. Kearney et al. (1991) introduced the first typology of instructor misbehaviors, which included incompetence, offensiveness, and indolence. Goodboy and Myers (2015) later revisited this initial typology, finding additional misbehaviors that reflected changes in the classroom climate, including antagonism and misbehaviors enacted during lectures. Much of the research on instructor misbehaviors utilizes these typologies, using a framework of interpersonal theories as a means of understanding instructor misbehaviors. This research focuses on middle schools where more than 90% of the students are socioeconomically disadvantaged and where mathematics scores are below the state and national average. The study was conducted to better understand how students experience various instructional strategies and perceive these classroom practices to impact their learning and self-efficacy in mathematics. A hybrid mixed methods research design, with both embedded and explanatory sequential components, was employed. Quantitative results are based on survey responses from 94 seventh grade students. Qualitative results are based on five teacher and eight student interviews.

Internationally, research productivity bears significance for an institution’s reputation and overall research ranking. Many previous efforts surrounding faculty issues have focused on individual faculty research productivity. This study reimagined the definition of productivity as an academic’s impact on scholarly research, evidenced by their h-index.

At the same time, the need for diversity of faculty populations is becoming more urgent, even in a time when the number of tenure-earning faculty positions is diminishing and those which remain are occupied mainly by white men. การพัฒนาโมเดลทำนายความสำเร็จในการเรียนของนักเรียนโดยประยุกต์ใช้การเรียนรู้แบบเอนเซมเบิล, พิริยพงศ์ หริ่งรอด

งานวิจัยนี้มีมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) พัฒนาโมเดลทำนายความสำเร็จในการเรียนของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2566 โรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒประสานมิตร (ฝ่ายมัธยม) ที่เรียนในรายวิชาคณิตศาสตร์เพิ่มเติม 2(1) ค31208 จำนวน 387 คน โดยใช้การเรียนรู้แบบเอนเซมเบิล ซึ่งใช้พฤติกรรมการเรียนในชั้นเรียนของนักเรียนเป็นตัวแปรทำนาย และเปรียบเทียบประสิทธิภาพของโมเดลในการจำแนกข้อมูล 5 วิธี ได้แก่ Elastic – net regularized generalized linear model (GLM), Random Forest (RF), Gradient Boosting with XGBoost (XGBoost), Artificial Neural Network (ANN) และการเรียนรู้แบบเอนเซมเบิลด้วยเทคนิค Stacking (stack) และ 2) พัฒนาแดชบอร์ดวิเคราะห์และทำนายความสำเร็จในการเรียนของนักเรียน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) จากการพิจารณาค่า F1 score, recall และ precision โดยผลจากการศึกษาพบว่าโมเดล RF และ XGBoost เป็นโมเดลที่มีค่าประสิทธิภาพสูงที่สุดใกล้เคียงกัน (F1 score = .904, recall = .891, และ precision = .920) นอกจากนี้ตัวแปรแทนคือสัดส่วนของคะแนนสอบย่อยเป็นปัจจัยที่มีความสำคัญต่อความสำเร็จในการเรียนของนักเรียนมากที่สุด (importance = 153.818) และสัดส่วนของการนำหนังสือเข้าชั้นเรียน เป็นปัจจัยที่มีความสำคัญต่อความสำเร็จในการเรียนของนักเรียนน้อยที่สุด (importance = 1.660) และ 2) ความพึงพอใจต่อการใช้แดชบอร์ดที่ผู้วิจัยพัฒนาขึ้นซึ่งมีส่วนประกอบสำคัญ 3 ส่วนได้แก่ ส่วนการวิเคราะห์เชิงพรรณนาส่วนการวิเคราะห์เชิงทำนาย และส่วนการวิเคราะห์เชิงวินิจฉัย ในภาพรวมนักเรียนส่วนใหญ่มีความพึงพอใจในระดับมากถึงมากที่สุดต่อการใช้งานแดชบอร์ด

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) พัฒนารูปแบบการสร้างสมรรถนะของครูในการประเมินทักษะปฏิบัติดนตรีไทยประเภทเครื่องเป่าของนักเรียนประถมศึกษา และ 2) ตรวจสอบคุณภาพของรูปแบบการสร้างสมรรถนะของครูในการประเมินทักษะปฏิบัติดนตรีไทยประเภทเครื่องเป่าของนักเรียนประถมศึกษา ตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ ครูผู้สอนที่ไม่ได้จบการศึกษาจากคณะครุศาสตร์/ศึกษาศาสตร์ วิชาเอกดนตรีไทย ที่สอนทักษะปฏิบัติดนตรีไทยประเภทเครื่องเป่าในระดับประถมศึกษา ไม่เกิน 5 ปี จำนวน 18 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบวัดสมรรถนะของครูในการประเมินทักษะดนตรีไทยประเภทเครื่องเป่าของนักเรียนประถมศึกษา รูปแบบการสร้างสมรรถนะของครูในการประเมินทักษะดนตรีไทยประเภทเครื่องเป่าของนักเรียนประถมศึกษา และคู่มือการใช้งานรูปแบบการสร้างสมรรถนะของครูในการประเมินทักษะดนตรีไทยประเภทเครื่องเป่าของนักเรียนประถมศึกษา วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และคะแนนพัฒนาการสัมพัทธ์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. รูปแบบการสร้างสมรรถนะของครูในการประเมินทักษะปฏิบัติดนตรีไทยประเภทเครื่องเป่าของนักเรียนประถมศึกษาที่พัฒนาขึ้นโดยใช้การฝึกอบรมและการใช้เทคโนโลยีผ่านเว็บไซต์ ประกอบด้วย 3 ขั้นตอน คือ (1) ขั้นเตรียม เป็นการเตรียมพร้อมสำหรับครูผู้สอนเพื่อทำความเข้าใจการเข้าใช้งานรูปแบบ (2) ขั้นดำเนินการ ผู้ใช้งานสามารถดำเนินการเรียนรู้และเข้าใช้งานได้ด้วยตนเอง โดยการทำแบบวัดสมรรถนะของครูในการประเมินทักษะดนตรีไทยประเภทเครื่องเป่า ก่อนเรียน และเข้าเรียนรู้ตามด้านต่าง ๆ จนครบ 3 ด้าน พร้อมทำคำถามท้ายคลิปแต่ละคลิป หลังจากนั้นทำแบบวัดฯ หลังเรียนที่มีลักษณะเป็นแบบทดสอบคู่ขนาน โดยผลการทดสอบจะแสดงเป็นร้อยละของคะแนนทั้งหมด และสามารถตรวจสอบคำตอบหลังทำแบบทดสอบทันที รวมถึงสามารถสอบถามข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมระหว่างการใช้งานรูปแบบฯ ได้ (3) ขั้นประเมินและสรุปผล เป็นการทำแบบประเมินความพึงพอใจ วิเคราะห์ผลการประเมิน ถอดบทเรียนและสรุปผล 2. ผลการตรวจสอบคุณภาพรูปแบบการสร้างสมรรถนะของครูในการประเมินทักษะปฏิบัติดนตรีไทยประเภทเครื่องเป่าของนักเรียนประถมศึกษาตามมาตรฐานการประเมินของ Stufflebeam 4 ด้าน พบว่า โดยภาพรวมผลการประเมินอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ผลการประเมินคุณภาพคู่มือการใช้งานรูปแบบการสร้างสมรรถนะของครูในการประเมินทักษะปฏิบัติดนตรีไทยประเภทเครื่องเป่าของนักเรียนประถมศึกษา พบว่า โดยรวมมีคุณภาพอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด ผลการประเมินความพึงพอใจในการใช้รูปแบบการสร้างสมรรถนะของครูในการประเมินทักษะปฏิบัติดนตรีไทยประเภทเครื่องเป่าของนักเรียนประถมศึกษา พบว่า โดยรวมมีคุณภาพอยู่ในระดับมาก และผลการประเมินสมรรถนะในการประเมินทักษะดนตรีไทยประเภทเครื่องเป่าของนักเรียนประถมศึกษา พบว่า ภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อสำรวจสภาพการฟื้นพลังทางดิจิทัล กรอบความคิดเติบโตทางดิจิทัล และการรับรู้ความสามารถทางดิจิทัลนักเรียน 2) สำรวจสภาพพฤติกรรมของครูในการดูแลช่วยเหลือนักเรียนด้านความปลอดภัยทางดิจิทัล และ 3) วิเคราะห์อิทธิพลของปัจจัยระดับนักเรียนและระดับครูที่มีต่อการฟื้นพลังทางดิจิทัลของนักเรียน ตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้คือ นักเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย จำนวน 1,089 คน และครู จำนวน 43 คน โดยใช้การสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้นตามภูมิภาคและขนาดโรงเรียน การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลใช้แบบสอบถามออนไลน์ที่พัฒนาให้มีคุณสมบัติการวัดเชิงจิตมิติทางด้านความตรงและความเที่ยง ข้อคำถามในงานวิจัยนี้มีค่าดัชนีความตรงตามเนื้อหา (I-CVI) ตั้งแต่ 0.80 ถึง 1.00 และมีค่าดัชนีความตรงตามเนื้อหาเชิงโครงสร้าง (S-CVI) เท่ากับ 0.83 ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ Cronbach’s Alpha ของแต่ละตัวบ่งชี้มีค่าตั้งแต่ 0.610 ถึง 0.865 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้การวิเคราะห์โมเดลสมการโครงสร้างด้วยโปรแกรม R และ Mplus ผลการศึกษาพบว่า โมเดลสมการโครงสร้างสอดคล้องกับข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์ (Chi-square (121) = 318.904, p < .001, RMSEA = 0.039, CFI = 0.985, TLI = 0.978, SRMRW = 0.018, SRMRB = 0.079, AIC = 18935.931, BIC = 19395.289) โดยมีรายละเอียดผลการวิจัยดังนี้ 1. ผลการวิเคราะห์อิทธิพลของปัจจัยระดับนักเรียน แสดงให้เห็นว่ากรอบความคิดเติบโตทางดิจิทัลมีอิทธิพลทางตรงต่อการฟื้นพลังทางดิจิทัลและการรับรู้ความสามารถทางดิจิทัลอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (BDGM->DRS = .548, p < .001; BDGM->DSE = .902, p < .001) ในขณะที่การรับรู้ความสามารถทางดิจิทัลมีอิทธิพลทางตรงต่อการฟื้นพลังทางดิจิทัลอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (BDSE->DRS = .399, p = .005) นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่ากรอบความคิดเติบโตทางดิจิทัลมีอิทธิพลทางอ้อมต่อการฟื้นพลังทางดิจิทัลผ่านการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเองทางดิจิทัลอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (BDGM->DSE->DRS = .360, p = .005) โดยคิดเป็นอิทธิพลโดยรวมเท่ากับ .908 2. ผลการวิเคราะห์อิทธิพลของปัจจัยระดับครู แสดงให้เห็นว่าพฤติกรรมของครูในการช่วยเหลือดูแลนักเรียนด้านความปลอดภัยทางดิจิทัลมีอิทธิพลทางตรงต่อการรับรู้ความสามารถทางดิจิทัลของนักเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (B TSC->DSE = .657, p < .001) รวมถึงมีอิทธิพลทางตรงต่อการฟื้นพลังทางดิจิทัลของนักเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (BTSC->DRS = .811, p < .001) นอกจากนี้ยังอิทธิพลทางอ้อมต่อการฟื้นพลังทางดิจิทัลของนักเรียนผ่านการรับรู้ความสามารถทางดิจิทัลของนักเรียนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (BTSC->DSE->DRS = .085, p < .001) โดยคิดเป็นอิทธิพลโดยรวมเท่ากับ .896 ข้อค้นพบดังกล่าวแสดงให้เห็นว่าการส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนมีการฟื้นพลังทางดิจิทัลต้องเริ่มส่งเสริมจากการสร้างกรอบความคิดเติบโตทางดิจิทัล และการรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเองทางดิจิทัลให้เกิดขึ้นกับนักเรียน นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่าครูที่ปรึกษามีบทบาทสำคัญในการส่งเสริมการฟื้นพลังทางดิจิทัลของนักเรียนอีกด้วย

The primary purpose of this qualitative study was to examine the Algebra I and Algebra II mathematics course curriculum documents at a local high school to determine alignment to the mathematics section of the Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSIA) and to identify content necessary for students to demonstrate college readiness in mathematics on the TSIA.
