The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of funding for the development of early care and education services on employee satisfaction. Overall, the employee job satisfaction among the three groups was not significant. However, there were six items that were found to have a significant difference among the three groups. The programs selected for funding were higher on some items of employee satisfaction and lower on other items than the other two groups. The funded groups were higher on fair treatment and recognition by supervisor. The funded group was lower on salary adequacy and benefit adequacy. The …

"Sistem Pembelajaran Kanak-Kanak Bermultimedia (SJSPEM)" adalah pakej pembelajaran bermultimedia untuk kanak-kanak di peringkat tadika dan sekolah rendah. Tujuan pakej ini adalah untuk mewujudkan satu kaedah altematif dalam proses pembelajaran perkataan dan seterusnya dapat memberi kemudahan kepada kanak-kanak. Tujuan lain pakej ini adalah untuk menarik minat kanak-kanak untuk menggunakan komputer dalam proses pembelajaran. Pakej ini akan dibangunkan mengunakan strategi penyelidikan dan pembangunan(R&D), "Macromedw Director" dan akan dioperasikan mengunakan "Window 98 atau Window Millennium". The purpose of this study was to review and analyze the literature concerning the optimum time to begin teaching reading. Four questions were answered, addressing the optimum time to begin teaching reading; advantages of early reading; problems with early reading; and guidelines for developing an effective reading program.
Early readers were found to have better grades, a higher self-esteem, and continued to be better readers throughout the secondary school years. However, some early readers also experienced difficulties because of the pressure and high expectations put on them at an early age.

This paper is a review of literature relative to the importance of using constructivist approaches in the kindergarten program. The primary focus of this paper was to look at the features of a constructivist approach. Advantages and criticisms of constructivism are included. This study also provides guidelines designed to help educators, specifically kindergarten teachers, implement constructivist approaches in their classrooms. The conclusion of this paper offers suggestions and cautions to educators on implementing these guidelines. Recommendations for further research in the area are stated.

The primary purpose of this research was to evaluate the efficacy of the distance learning Commonwealth Special Education Endorsement Program (CSEEP) delivered by Old Dominion University. The CSEEP program was designed to address economic and geographic barriers confronting teachers seeking to complete requirements for endorsement in special education, improve the quality of education teachers, help reduce the shortage of fully licensed special education teachers, and increase teacher retention in special education.
