It was the purpose of this study to identify the influences that contributed to bringing about curriculum change in selected educational agencies which employed consultants in the social sciences through NDEA Title III-B projects. The research attempted to find the ways districts planned, organized, and implemented curriculum change through the use of the NDEA consultants. It focused on the procedures, interrelationships, and interactions taking place within the structure of the projects and the agencies involved in accomplishing those projects. Neither the amount nor the direction of the changes was the intent of the study.

The purpose of this study is to survey former students of East Valley High School (formerly Moxee Consolidated High School) who terminated their education prior to graduation during the school years 1956-1957 to 1959-1960 inclusive in order to determine the reasons for their withdrawal. It is hoped that this information will be used by school personnel to plan a better educational program. If this study should indicate some shortcomings within the school, recommendations for an improved guidance program and/or curriculum changes could prove profitable to the students, the Moxee School District, the community, and society.

One of the main projects of the Stockton Unified School District Curriculum Council during the past two years has been to evaluate and review possible courses to be taught on a trial basis in the curriculums of the Stockton Senior High Schools.
One such course, "World of Art," was recommended and approved by the Curriculum Council to be initiated as a trial offering for no later than 1960. The "World of Art" course was originally intended to be a one semester course open to junior and senior students in secondary school. Although the course was intended to be a one …
