Newcomer Youths' Experiences Of School, Lori-Ann A. Brown

The purpose of the study was to identify positive and negative aspects of school experience among newcomer youth. More specifically, the purpose of this research was to give a voice to a group of newcomers that have been largely ignored by the literature. To accomplish this goal, participants were male and female youth, aged 15 to 18, who had migrated to Canada within the past two years and resided in London at the time of interview.
