Considerable attention is directed toward the sporting orientations, attitudes and behaviors of athletes in competitive sports. Coach behavior is also a source of interest as it pertains to performance, satisfaction, and motivation of athletes who play for them. Codification of coach behavior as leadership style and the relation to sportspersonship attitudes and behaviors in athletes is understudied. This exploratory study investigated the relationship between intercollegiate coaches’ servant leadership and their athletes’ ethically-related sport orientations and behaviors. A Narrative Of A Teacher’S Awakening Of Consciousness: Learning To Become An Effective Witness, Wendy Lynn Freebersyser

This autoethnographical narrative chronicles the awakening and subsequent conscientization of a middle-class white female teacher through critical reflective praxis. Autoethnography, Liberation Theory and Critical Race Theory (CRT) are used in this study, allowing the researcher to become the focal point of the story. The narrative details the journey in retrospect, revealing the evolution of my conscientization.
