In this article, the author compares different definitions of the term blended learning given by foreign and local scientists and gives his interpretation. The article analyzes world scholars' works on blended learning, determining the advantages and disadvantages of this method. The online survey method was used to find out how far Kazakhstani teachers are familiar with the blended learning method, whether they use it or not, and understand if it is effective. Nowadays, the Level II Technical Expert Seafarers' Training Program learning is conventional. This is burdensome for students due to the increased cost of living for students and needs to be revised. This multiple-article dissertation explores institutional support for student academic engagement through the lens of the Academic Communities of Engagement (ACE) framework. A literature synthesis explores the current research on teaching assistant (TA) support in online and blended environments in higher education, with a special emphasis on their role in providing support for affective engagement, in addition to supporting cognitive and behavioral engagement. Despite a wealth of research on feedback practices in synchronous and asynchronous courses, little has been done to investigate such practices in hybrid writing pedagogy. How do instructors make choices about providing feedback when both instructional modes are operating in a course?

A qualitative study conducted with fourteen instructors who teach hybrid writing courses at a large state university reveals how they navigate a series of choices about providing feedback on student writing. Schools are widely implementing blended learning, defined as a combination of face to face instruction and computer-assisted instruction, to increase student achievement. Evaluating Preservice Teachers’ Performance In A Blended Field Experience Course During The Quarantine Of Covid-19, Laila Mohebi, Areej Elsayary

This paper aims to evaluate the preservice teachers’ teaching performance in a blended field experience during the quarantine of COVID-19. An exploratory sequential mixed method approach was adopted using Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) analysis as a qualitative tool and quantitative data collected using a teacher evaluation rubric that merged the INTASC standards in the Danielson domains. The results show that using SWOT analysis positively impacts teachers’ performance: they understand how to use the external environment (seizing opportunities and avoiding threats) to control the internal environment (enhancing strengths and removing weaknesses).

This dissertation is presented in a journal-ready format and aims to inform professional development designed to support blended teaching. The first is a qualitative study of the practices of secondary educators currently using blended teaching strategies. Thematic analysis of the interviews identified activities teachers use in the online space and how they are connected to in-person activities. Activities aligned with two prior frameworks. Moore's (1989) interaction framework supported classifications of student interactions with content, other learners, and instructors. This study aimed to investigate the effect of using flipped learning on developing students’ skills of using the interactive whiteboard program. The research methodology was based on a quasi- experimental research design. As a result of the pandemic, teaching and learning has changed drastically over the past few years (Dascalu et al., 2021). Planning for classroom success for English Learners (ELs) includes pivoting to using educational technology to keep students motivated with well-planned topics, thought-provoking discussions, and respectful yet probing questioning techniques (Freiberger, 2020). Online learning tasks were added in 2018 to regular classes to provide more flexibility for student engagement.
