Abstract:

The study aimed to identify the sources of the authority of academic leaders in Jordanian universities from the viewpoint of the faculty members working with them. A random stratified sample was chosen, consisting of (384) faculty members. The survey descriptive methodology was used, and a questionnaire consisting of (27) items, distributed in (6) fields, was used. Its validity and reliability were confirmed. This research aimed to reveal the degree of practicing servant leadership by college deans in the Jordanian universities and its relationship with the participation of faculty members in administrative decisions making. Abstract: The study aimed to identify the academic and administrative load and its role in weakening of the efficiency of scientific research among faculty members in Jordanian private universities. The analytical descriptive methodology was used for collecting data. The sample of the study consisted of (150) faculty members.
