Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah, dan perbandingan keefektifan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan pembelajaran berbasis masalah ditinjau dari sikap percaya diri, pencapaian belajar matematika, dan keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain kelompok pretes-postes beracak. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Yogyakarta. Project-based learning was incorporated into a high school American History course unit where students were expected to write an original history of the Vietnam War based exclusively on primary sources. The purpose of this research was to improve student understanding and use of the engineering design process by scaffolding instruction of implementation during STEM project-based learning. The study was conducted in a fifth-grade engineering class and a seventh and eighth grade technology class with a total of 79 participants. The researchers collected data through pre and post student questionnaires, student checklists, researcher observations and reflection journals. Findings indicated that scaffolding instruction improved student understanding and implementation of the engineering design process. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness, and student's self-reported engagement with gamification tools on a student's learning of technical concepts when used in a project-based learning (PBL) engineering classroom environment. Gamification, as defined in this study, is the use of game-based elements such as online audience response systems with automated feedback in non-game situations. Writing attitudes of three learners with severe disabilities were surveyed in a substantially separate special education classroom within a public school in Massachusetts in order to determine the effect on learners’ writing attitudes after a project-based creative writing intervention in poetry. Writing skills were measured using teacher-created rubrics and attitudes were measured using pre and post survey data. Primary diagnoses of students involved included Intellectual Impairment, Autism, and Traumatic Brain Injury.
