Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran Statistika Smp Dengan Pendekatan Saintifik, Choirul Mahmudah

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran statistika SMP dengan pendekatan saintifik, meliputi rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dan lembar kegiatan siswa (LKS) yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan mengacu model pengembangan Borg & Gall. Sebagai sumber data, dilibatkan enam orang siswa kelas IX, 56 siswa kelas VII, dan tiga orang guru SMP Negeri 1 Tulang Bawang Udik, Provinsi Lampung. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrumen lembar validasi, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, lembar penilaian kepraktisan oleh siswa, lembar keterbacaan, lembar penilaian kepraktisan oleh guru, dan instrumen kefektifan perangkat pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan perangkat penilaian autentik mata pelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan di SMK, dan (2) mengetahui karakteristik perangkat penilaian autentik mata pelajaran prakarya dan kewirausahaan dari segi validitas, reliabilitas, dan kepraktisan perangkat penilaian yang dihasilkan. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu langkah yang dikembangkan oleh Borg & Gall yang dimodifikasi menjadi delapan langkah pengembangan. Langkah pengembangan tersebut yaitu studi pendahuluan, perencanaan produk, pengembangan produk, uji coba terbatas, revisi, uji coba lapangan, revisi akhir, dan diseminasi produk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan model pengembangan kompetensi profesional berkelanjutan bagi setiap dosen vokasi (PKPB-DV) agar memiliki kompetensi untuk dapat menjalankan tugas pokok dan fungsinya. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan digunakan untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian, dengan subjek penelitian pegawai, pimpinan perguruan tinggi, dosen yang ditentukan secara purposif. Data dikumpulkan dengan pedoman wawancara dan angket serta dianalisis secara deskripsi kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran statistika dan peluang untuk siswa SMA kelas X semester 2 dengan metode penemuan terbimbing yang terdiri atas RPP, LKS, dan instrumen penilaian yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Model pengembangan dalam penelitian ini adalah model 4D, terdiri atas tahap pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. There is an upsurge in the establishment of private and public universities in Nigeria. The development has opened up the need for quality and seasoned academics, but minimal opportunities exist for mentoring of young academics. This article explores the mentoring opportunities and challenges of young female academics faced in a male dominant university system. From an exploratory qualitative design, this article generates empirical evidence through structured a face-to-face interview with purposively selected 36 female academics. In this work, the existence of a global minimizer for the previous Lagrangian formulation of nonpolar solvation model proposed in [1] has been proved. One of the proofs involves a construction of a phase field model that converges to the Lagrangian formulation. Moreover, an Eulerian formulation of nonpolar solvation model is proposed and implemented under a similar parameterization scheme to that in [1]. By doing so, the connection, similarity and difference between the Eulerian formulation and its Lagrangian counterpart can be analyzed. Scholars and educational leaders have expressed concern that higher education is not adequately meeting students’ desire for spiritual growth within an academic context. Prior studies have demonstrated a relationship between the pedagogical method of service-learning and spiritual development. This study analyzed the relationship between specific service-learning components and the occurrence of spiritual growth in an effort to better understand how such growth can be fostered within the curriculum. Findings indicated that spiritual growth occurred when students experienced significant challenge balanced with support. This research aims to determine the implications of the tax change component in the income tax to the persistence and forecasting of future earnings, and also comparing the effect of tax changes component in initial earning with the tax change component in revised earnings, in order to know which are more persistent. Using all companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the year 2010-2013 as the samples, this research showed that the tax change component in income tax empirically proven to have a persistent effect on future earnings. White Religious Educators Resisting White Fragility: Lessons From Mystics, Mary E. Hess

Decades of work in dismantling racism have not yielded the kind of results for which religious educators have hoped. One primary reason has been what scholars term “white fragility,” a symptom of the structural racism which confers systemic privilege upon White people. Lessons learned from Christian mystics point to powerful ways to confront and resist the siren call of such formation and instead to make resisting racism an integral part of Christian identity for White people.

This article explores the complexities and affordances of historical representation that arose in the process of designing a mobile augmented reality video game for teaching history. The process suggests opportunities to push the historical documentary form in new ways.
