Coach Jeff Wren begins his eighth season as the coach of both the men’s and women’s swimming teams. The veteran coach is very optimistic about the quality and depth of this year’s team. He will once again be assisted by diving coach Lance Graham and second-year assistant Chrissy Doherty.

The University of Maine softball team will be looking to rebound from a 17-23-1 season of a year ago. The Black Bears are poised to make a run at the conference title this season and improve on its fifth place finish last year (7-7).
