The purpose of the study is to evaluate students’ perceptions of the General Diploma Program at the Faculty of Education in King AbdulAziz University. The study adopted a descriptive analytical approach through a questionnaire which consisted of (57) items divided into six domains. This study aimed to develop an instrument to measure language competency of students who wish to enroll university programs, as a measurement for required Arabic skills.

To achieve the goals of the study, the researcher developed a list of required Arabic skills for students who wish to study at universities. This study aims to investigate the predicting ability for mindfulness in empathy skills of a sample of students at the University of Abu Dhabi (Abu Dhabi and Al Ain branch). To achieve the study goals researchers used a mindfulness scale which consisted of four subscales (observation, Describing, act with awareness, accept without judgement), and empathy scale consisting of four subscales (fantasy, perspective-taking, empathy concern, personnel distress), with (400) male and female student samples from the University of Abu Dhabi.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine to what extent the teachers of Grades 1-10 use creative thinking skills from the educational supervisors view. The sample of the study consisted of 88 educational supervisors. It used a questionnaire comprising 47 skills of the creative thinking skills divided into four main dimensions, which are; fluency, flexibility, originality and sensitivity to problem.
