Background: Obesity and overweight represent significant global public health concerns. Young adolescents are in particular increasingly experiencing obesity and overweight due to their sedentary lifestyles, excessive electronic media use, and lack of physical activity (PA). This trend is linked to the development of non-communicable diseases in later life. Moreover, data regarding the lack of PA is available in Pakistan, but a gap exists in the comparative analysis of physical activity levels between rural and urban adolescents. The purpose of the study was to find out how well prepared science teachers are for the implementation of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) at the Secondary Education Level (SEL) in Rachuonyo South Sub-County. The study also looked at science teachers' training, Pedagogical Content Knowledge, technological skills, and attitudes toward CBC implementation. This study sought to find out how social media can be used to leverage teacher professional learning. It adopted a designed-based research approach with a pre-intervention, an intervention and a post-intervention phase. There were four different types of data sources analyzed: questionnaires, an online survey, and interviews with administrators and TPL providers. In addition, the contributions and activities of teachers on social media platforms were examined. This qualitative study using case study design sought to explore the effectiveness of Teachers’ Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in enhancing learners’ achievement in primary schools of Abim district in Uganda.

There are numerous CPDs in Abim district whose expected outcome is improved learners’ achievement but there is little evidence to authenticate that.

A total sample of thirteen (13) respondents participated. The study used interviews and Focussed Group Discussion as methods of collecting data from sampled participants. Data collected, consisted of information about respondents’ understanding of CPD, organisation, implementation, and evaluation.

This study explored transfer of knowledge and skills from teacher professional learning activities to the workplace. A concurrent mixed method was adopted. Data was collected using questionnaire, FGD and interview. The study was carried out among teachers in public secondary schools in Makueni county in Kenya. Learners who struggle with mathematics may have difficulties in comprehending the core ideas in mathematics. The concrete-representational-abstract (CRA) instructional sequence of teaching allows teachers to assist pupils in making sense of numbers and the mathematical concepts they represent. The use of concrete materials is critical in the teaching of mathematics to young children; they are the major instruments that early childhood teachers use to train young learners in their mathematics classes today. This study examined the conflict management approaches practiced by heads of schools, teachers, and student leaders in Hai District, Kilimanjaro Region, Tanzania. The study's objectives were to examine secondary school heads' skills and knowledge in conflict resolution, to examine school heads' conflict resolution approaches, and assess the effectiveness of school heads' conflict resolution strategies. The study employed a qualitative approach, with data gathered through interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), and document analysis.
